Creeps annoy the hell out of me. I'm the real deal - looking for honest, passionate dialogue, the sharing of crazy random activities, and fantastic misadventures.
I suffer from the crippling inability of not being able to tell people what they want to hear. It has never been a problem and it is not something I plan to change.

I'm a indie-rocking grad student in the Ithaca area. I enjoy trolling bars, checking out new music, and watching low-budget films.
I live with a cat, and we constantly fail to understand each other. My relationship with animals is deep and intrinsic to my life.
I have a very ironic sense of humor. I listen to NPR regularly and enjoy multiple rounds of good beer. I love learning new things, every day.
I appreciate good company, racy jokes, and wild stories. I sometimes have a dark, wise nature that comforts some people and drives others crazy. Other times I can be quite anxious and impulsive.

What I’m doing with my life
I'm taking classes at Ithaca College and tutoring around a dozen students a week
in physics. I exercise regularly, train my cat, and cook new and
exciting things in the kitchen. I practice on my guitar, write
computer games, and read during my free time.
I’m really good at
building things and knocking them down. I've always been a huge
Lego fan.
The first things people usually notice about me
my hair, which is a mess. People also report noticing my eyes,
which appear quite intense. This is not a coincidence.
My favorite books, movies, music, and food
I enjoy pop-cultural science,
political
satire, science fiction, and coming-of-age
stories in my books and movies. I'm a fan of the Ender's Game series,
books by Carl
Hiaasen, and the Hitchhiker's
Guide to the Galaxy. You'll also see me reading works by
Michael
Pollan and Stephen Chobosky.
My favorite movies include Kiss Kiss Bang Bang, I <3 Huckabees, The World's Fastest Indian, and Superbad. These four should give you a good idea of my movie taste.
I like a wide variety of music. I particularly like female musicians - they tend to rock harder than the guys. Some of my favorite groups are Be Your Own Pet, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Silversun Pickups, and the White Stripes. In general, I listen to punk and indie rock. My "sound" is driven guitar over heavy bass and soft vocals. I also enjoy rap, country and hip hop in small doses.
I like authentic Mexican food, Italian supper salads, and New York City pizza.
