For the past 14 years, i have been self employed, and am passionate about my career in interior design/architecture. I work primary with General Contractors in the Design/Build business [new construction/renovations for both residential projects and hotel projects]....I work hard, but I strive to have a good balance of free time to enjoy life!
I believe the basis of any good relationship is based on a solid friendship with good honest communication, and the desire to truly understand one another, laugh and have a lot of fun! (obviously, having a mutually strong physical connection is important too!)
For fun I enjoy traveling /backpacking, live music, theater, comedy, quirky movies, shooting pool, water skiing, kayaking, hiking, biking, road trips, photography, art projects, games, dumpster diving, collecting 1950's lamps, house projects, gardening, dressing up for Halloween, cooking spicy vegetarian food, dinner parties, and wine tasting...just to name a few!
My ideal mate is curious about life, is interesting, has a creative mind, is motivated, is a good conversationalist as well as listener, comes from a strong family background and has a solid group of friendships, has a love for animals and nature, is passionate about the environment, is more liberal than conservative, enjoys working with his hands on projects, has a regular workout schedule, puts a high priority on health , wellness ,and fitness, is romantic, playful, and not afraid to show public affection!..Yes, being neat, stylish and sexy is also a big turn on!!!...I'm a sucker for a great smile and even greater sense of humor...actually, I'm a sucker for a downright witty dude!
I have had a few notable long term relationships in my past [including a marriage] and i enjoy being in a committed relationship...I want to meet that someone special to enhance my life and compliment my independence, who shares common passions, who has a flexible work schedule and a desire to travel and explore new places, doesn't take life too seriously, appreciates the simple things, and agrees that the journey is the reward!
