I'm about to graduate from the RIT. Probably looking to head back to the DC area to look for work in the biotechnology industry for a year or so before applying for grad school.

I love music. When I was much younger, I played piano and clarinet. I don't just like music from the classical periods, though a lot of other music too. It is, for me, the best form of escapism, and the only way I could like it more is if I had synesthesia, so music I'm listening to could look as awesome as it sounds.

Life is still very novel to me. I've had a handful of experiences (some good others bad... very bad... well... I digress sorry), but I keep looking forward to new things (that I'm not afraid to try lol). New friends, perhaps dating, are what I suppose I expect here (most definitely friends).

Recently, I've gotten myself in a situation where I am in this ridiculously difficult class doing nothing but making jell-o and moving around small amounts of water. I've already spent 19 in that lab, and I'm only scheduled for 8 of those hours. It's only been three days. I guess what I'm trying to say is I wouldn't trade it for an A. I enjoy the lab because it's all technique, and that's the main point of this blurb. I enjoy technique and process, working with my hands, and I have a reliable ability to learn others (I can already cook, and can unscrew test tubes in one hand and pipet with the other). Now if I can make friends with someone who can teach me auto mechanics.

I'm currently a student at RIT, pursuing a BS in Biotech, and afterwards a PhD (hopefully Immunology). When I'm not focused on school, I like to unwind and relax, or do something not school related.

I went to Israel recently, and I must say it's helped my character in a way that I feel more connected to the rest of the world than I ever did meeting people from abroad. I can't wait to go back too.

Cooking, making people laugh (though don't get your hopes up, I'm not funny on command... some of the time), writing music, I'm getting really good with playing pool, biology. Oh, listening to people's problems.

Movies: Amelie, Crash, Hero, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, X-Men, a lot of Tim Burton Films, Finding Neverland, Big Fish, In America, V for Vendetta, Fifth Element, Spirited Away, Howl's Moving Castle; I prefer subtitled to dubbed (in fact I almost demand it, I hate feeling like the audio isn't matched well with the video)

Music: EDM or Electronic (Trance, House, Techno), Classical, Pop, some alternative, a few others in other genres, Regina Spektor, Arcade Fire, the album "Hissing Fauna are you the Destroyer?" by Of Montreal, I like the "Crane Wife" album by the Decemberists. I've just recently discovered HaDag Nachash (they're good)... ooh and MGMT, Joanna Newsom; I add them as I go... Architecture in Helsinki, Vampire Weekend... The song "Ára Bátur" by Sigur Rós, who incidentally writes some of the best music too, Phoenix, Passion Pit, I love the song "Kissing the Lipless" by the Shins (they're good too)

The present and the future. What I want to do next. Since most of my thoughts are random, I usually don't think too much on one subject.

Sometimes I think to myself "what if the person I'm destined for is missing a rib?" Or "is happiness lemony or buttery?" Are trees spying on us, because if they are well then how rude (no I don't really mean that latter one).

I also sometimes think about how pitiful the letters x and w can be. For example, why isn't "asks" spelled instead as "asx"; similarly why isn't it spelled "vacwm?" I also think that if anyone reading this is taking me serious with what I just said, then perhaps well... never mind, I don't wanna be rude.

I think I'd only be able to do the double pits to chesty if I was skydiving. But my fear of the parachute not deploying will keep me from ever falling out of the sky anytime soon. :-(

Whenever I go somewhere, I always think "what have I forgotten?"

I think my boyfriend's gay!!! Oh... OK Cupid was being serious... well I don't want to disappoint so hmmm... I love making lascivious comments.

I seldom trust picky eaters. The reason is that I think they don't trust others, especially when it comes to what they ingest. I think people who like to explore other foods, are able to explore other cultures.

I'm also very religious when I'm in an airplane. I hate flying, and every time the plane shakes or turns or dips I say a short prayer with the most stoic expression on my face.

I once thought that machetes could cut through anything- yes anything, even the earth (I was a gullible child with older siblings... do the math).

I will review notes from my organic chemistry class sometimes.
