When I was 3, I was out trick-or-treating with my mom.
I had dressed in my best: a classy, exquisite pumpkin onesie made of the finest cloth money could buy from the Halloween store. I even had a stem hat that had a band that thoughtfully made sure my hat didn't fall off as I waddled around, hunting for treats.
After an uneventful evening, I see the most beautiful thing that I had ever seen in my entire life. It was a girl. She wore a milkmaid outfit, complete with a little pail for her candy.
I didn't even think twice. I marched up to her and asked her to marry me.
To this day, I love meeting new people. Unfortunately "Hi will you marry me" doesn't work so well, now that I'm 29.
