Hmm, about myself. Well, I grew up in the Dallas area and have lived here all my life, although I take frequent trips to all sorts of other places around the world. I graduated with a degree in "Arts and Technology" and am now working as a web designer, though I am doing a variety of creative projects on the side in my free time. I'm very close with my family and we've always gotten along very well. I feel really uncomfortable "pitching" myself, but I think most people that know me think I'm a pretty devoted, caring , thoughtful guy. Despite this, though, I haven't been in very many romantic relationships in my life; I have decided to take a more active role in FINDING some one special, and here's hoping that's you.

Some things I like to do in my free time: I write/record/draw stuff for my site / blog dedicated to my weird sense of humor (see the "Psycho No Deal Zone" or my podcast, the “Richard and John Show.”) I’ve traveled the world and am big into photography. I’m a big videogame fan, and I am always up for a good movie.

Humor is very important to me. I’ve been told I have a dry / sarcastic / absurdist sense of humor, all of which are probably true. For example, for a school project I made up a faux-religion based on the cartoon “Captain Planet”, which ultimately involved alligators and Danny DeVito.

So, if you’d like to get to know me, I suppose we can go from there. If you're a colony of fruit bats, you're going to have to explain how you are using a computer. Frankly, the fruit bats take precedent because I bet there's good money in exploiting hyper-intelligent bats.

I recently started a new job as a Web Designer for a much larger company. It's a huge step up from the previous company I worked for, which was much smaller. So far I'm enjoying it - web design gives me a creative outlet in my work which is very important to me.

In my spare time I spend time on my creative endeavors, be it writing, drawing, animating, photography, or whatever else.

I travel a lot with my family, but my favorite trip was to the Galapagos Islands. I've been to Italy, France, Germany, Russia, England, Costa Rica, Turkey, Ecuador, Canada, Mexico, lots of places in the U. S. and a number of other places I'm sure.

The fact that I'm 6'5. And then they ask if I play basketball, and I politely chuckle and hope they don't keep talking about basketball.

TV: In Treatment, The Colbert Report, Dexter, Curb Your Enthusiasm, Tim and Eric, Damages, Breaking Bad

Movies: I usually prefer Artsy movies / independent movies but I will watch and enjoy most stuff. I do like thinking about the movies after I've seen them though. I admit I like giant monster movies too (i.e. Godzilla). I tend to frequent the Angelika theater a lot. I really like comedies too.

Food: I'm a bit of a picky eater I admit, but I'm always trying to broaden my horizons. But dark chocolate is always awesome.

Video Games: Playstation 3, Xbox 360, PC. I'd name games here but the list would be enormous and I'm guessing most people won't care.

Books: Don Quixote, The Areas of My Expertise, Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, Kurt Vonnegut stuff, David Sedaris stuff, and lots of other stuff. I don't read as much as I used to but I've been starting back up again recently.
