Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
After a nine-month hiatus, I am back in the dating pool. And I am
so not ready.
Lately, I was curious and took a trip down memory lane in the form
of old messages on here. I've been an OkCupid user for over nine
years, holy cow! I read some of the messages former me has sent,
and I am embarrassed at my younger self. I'm still a little
embarrassed at myself for being a little socially awkward at times,
but then again, who isn't nowadays? Had new acquaintances, a few
relationships, and a couple of failed loves in that large amount of
time, and I'm still trucking along trying to be optimistic and
cheerful for whatever lies ahead.
Hello! My name is Kenneth. How are you today?
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I graduated from CSUF with a bachelor's degree in Business
Economics and Psychology. I've always wanted to be a secretary for
the owner of a small business and help it grow--sort of help run
and micromanage the company without necessarily being the face of
the company itself. That or a massage therapist. I was never really
formally taught how to give good back massages, but my technique is
that I imagine how good it'd feel if someone were to massage my
back in a certain way, then I'd replicate that. Our bodies really
aren't so different from one another. I guess empathy was my

I get really excited about things sometimes. Silly things. If you
want an easy way to get me to laugh, just say a cheesy pun; cheap
laughs are still laughs after all.

Miyazaki (Spirited Away, etc.)
Disney (Hercules, Tangled, The Sword in the Stone, etc.)
Pixar (Finding Nemo, Wall-E, etc.)
Cloud Atlas was a good movie too. That introduced me to my crush on
Ben Whishaw, and Skyfall only solidified it.
Avatar: The Last Airbender, Legend of Korra, Teen Titans, The
Powerpuff Girls, X-Men: Evolution. I grew up on these shows and
have fond memories of their adventures, tragedies, comedic
Nujabes, DJ Okawari, Tommy Emmanuel, Nobuo Uematsu.
Oh, I can eat. Mexican, Korean BBQ, Italian, sushi (and especially
the all-you-can-eat variant!), bring it on. There are occasions
where I would crave a good woodfire burger topped with applewood
bacon and cheese, and then there are other times where I'd want to
cook pineapple curry. Granted, that curry is one of the only few
things I know how to make, but I do want to learn more.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.

Oh, and tautology.

Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Did I leave the stove on?
I theorycraft gaming strategies when I'm not actively playing. If
you didn't get the feeling that I am a geek earlier, I think this
should do it now.

When I was about 8 or 9, I was playing Super Mario RPG: Legend of
the Seven Stars. One of the characters asked if I wanted a "recap."
At this time, I've never heard of the word before, but I knew what
a cap was and thought it was some sort of headgear. So I said yes
to his offer. You can imagine my surprise when he started to repeat
himself over and over!
I appreciate people who legitimately answer this section instead of
saying that "it wouldn't be private anymore." It doesn't have to be
your biggest secret--as we've seen here, a silly anecdote that only
a handful of people know about could work.
