What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Planning a possible sabbatical to France, possibly followed by moving to a house so that I can get some cats. Plotting my next betting coup.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
I'd like to say boxing, but I was rubbish so stopped.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
On the basis that my godson and his brother and sister, when making a Wii character for me, made sure that I was smiling before they sorted out any other features, I'm going to go for that. And rather than this being an arrogant boast, it's most definitely quantity over quality! As you can see from one of my photos, I've got a bit of a wonky tooth, so hardly a BBC smile...
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
French films and TV unsurprisingly. Iain Banks. Jonathan Rendall. Irvine Welsh. Thomas Hauser. Louis Theroux. Jon Ronson. Japanese and Lebanese food are pretty high on the agenda. Most music. Except for rubbish. Obviously. Carol Brown is one of the best songs ever written. Not because it reflects my own personal experience. Rather it's just a work of genius and very catchy.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
A book in my coat pocket
My iPod in my coat pocket
Coriander
Fresh coffee
A razor - bald on top with a ponytail isn't a good look
Wasabi
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
At the moment, whether Bristol West can be the next Green seat in parliament and whether the loathsome UKIPs are in some way good if they stop the equally loathsome Dave and Gideon subjecting us to another 5 years of austerity in order to transfer more British taxpayer cash to their rich chums. Of course we'll still get austerity light under the only marginally better Labour, but it's the little things.
