My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.

Where to start... I'm an aspiring artist, outdoors-man, reader, writer, painter, sculptor, and borderline hardcore nerd (minus the borderline part that is).

Aside from my day-job which I loathe for the most part I own a custom props and costume business which I hope to one day have stabilized enough that I can just do that full time. I just got done buying a home in NE Albuquerque and am in the process of renovating the garage there to this end. By the end of the year I should also have a small blacksmith shop set up on the property as well.

I'm not very good at writing self-summaries so if there is more you want to know about just ask!
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I'm constantly working to keep things moving forward so my life will never get stagnant. Slowly working at trying to get established in the costume field. Its a tough industry but once you make a name for yourself and continue to produce quality work its smooth sailing. Its all about building a reputation.

I'm currently working full time in order to put away money for my props business so that's where I spend the majority of my time. However, when I get some time for myself I've been restoring an old boat so that I can spend my weekends out on the lake and away from the city. The change of scenery will be a nice repose from day to day life.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Building things. Criticizing myself. Getting off track and distracted. Making people laugh (at least trying to). Being a nerd. Pushing myself to meet my expectations despite the bumps in the road.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I'm tall? I don't really know don't know so if anyone would care to enlighten me that would be awesome.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Favorite book has to be Frank Herbert's Dune. I also like most sci-fi and fantasy works. I have a large collection of non-fiction as well and enjoy the experience of reading for learning about new things. At some point once I get my own home I intend to build a dedicated personal study on to it and start collecting rare and antique books. I just started reading "Atlas Shrugged" because apparently I've been missing out on a classic.

Movies: Dune, Galaxy Express 999, Metropolis, 7 Samurai. Anything Sci-fi be it well produced or a campy B movie I'll watch at least once.

Shows: Mythbusters, Doctor Who, Torchwood, Top Gear (UK), Castle, Firefly

Music: Kamelot, Sonata Arctica, NIN, Tool, APC, Sade, Daft Punk, Zero7, Deadmau5, Blue October. I have so many things I listen to it would take me way too long to list them all here

Food: I just love food. I really do. My favorites have to be curry and pizza.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Food - I love to eat new things and am always game to enjoy a good meal. Any of my friends can tell you that finding new foods is always on my list of things to do.
A creative outlet - the current poison of choice is props and costuming, but I also like to work in other mediums.
Coffee - I've run on this stuff pretty much non-stop since my senior year of high school.
Music - I listen to music a lot of the time. It helps me keep on track when I'm working and keeps me from getting too bored driving around town.
A drive to be something more than I am today - Being driven to move forward is the reason I wake up and do what I do every day. There is no way I could live without it.
Tools - This is one of those things that I don't realize how hard I'm making a project on myself until someone I know goes "Hey you know there is a tool to do that for you." I love my tools and am slowly procuring more of them as time goes on.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
How I'm going to find a way to make a living doing the things I love. My friends. I never really have any down time from thought. I spend the vast majority of my time thinking about what I need to do to get ahead, catch up, or keep up the status quo. I also think a lot about what I want to do to make my house a home once I close and move in. I have a list of things I'd like to build to make the place unique.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
At work wishing I was out with friends or slaving away in the shop.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I'm kinda embarrassed that it has taken me 22 years to figure out what it is in life that I love. When I was young I wanted to be a marine biologist. That's pretty far off from costume and prop work. I'm just glad that I can now focus myself around what I love and where I want to go with it.

Basically if you want to talk message away.
