My self-summary
To start, my name is Kevin (obviously), and almost a year ago I moved to San Francisco from the East Coast (New Hampshire). I spent my entire life there outside of work trips and vacations, and eventually I decided it was time for a change. I worked in L.A. for a couple months back in 2006 and had been wanting to get back out west ever since.

I work for CVS Pharmacy as a Pharmacy Technician. My job enabled me to transfer to San Francisco, and I do enjoy the work. For the time being, I am satisfied where I am, but I am always looking for that next opportunity to advance, in house if possible, but unnecessary.

I love exploring the city, and enjoy simply walking around to discover new spots. I consider myself to be easy going, and I just let life come to me as it may. My move out west highlights my spontaneity, and I am most happy when on some sort of adventure.
What I’m doing with my life
I am using these next few years before I turn 30 to figure out how I want to define my life. I enjoy my work, but I do not envision staying there for much longer, so I am on the lookout for a better opportunity. I used to define my life by the company I kept, but I have learned that only your closest friends matter; most people only stay friends out of convenience, not a deep connection.
I’m really good at
Making stupid jokes and keeping the atmosphere light. I take something positive out of every day I live, and go to bed every night with no regrets.

I also like to cook, but the jury's out on how good I am...
The first things people usually notice about me
I am extremely talkative, and loud for that matter. People hear me enter a space before they see me (a product of growing up in a loud home). Usually people notice my upbeat attitude, as I do not let things get me down, either at work or on personal time. I can be found singing along to the crappy songs playing over the speakers in my store, and I have been known to get excited over seemingly trivial occurrences.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Books: Anything by Stephen King, and any history book I can get my hands on (so long as it's not US-centric).

Movies: Donnie Darko, The Princess Bride, Boondock Saints, Batman/X-Men/Avengers-related movies, The Departed, The Bourne Trilogy, Super Troopers, Office Space, MIB, and anything Judd Apatow related.

Shows: Entourage, Walking Dead, Chuck, Dexter, 30 Rock, Weeds, Psych, White Collar, Boston Legal, Eureka, Warehouse 13, Stargate SG-1/Atlantis/Universe, and every Sci-Fi show that lasts about a season before being cancelled. I also watch every NFL game I can, and the occasional baseball/hockey game if it's on at a bar.

Food: I eat everything, and prefer seafood.
The six things I could never do without
Close friendships and family ties.
My phone (helped me get my bearings in the city).
A job I enjoy.
Sports (watching and playing).
The Internet.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
My next adventure.
On a typical Friday night I am
Hopefully enjoying the company of others. I enjoy a night (or day) in just as much as the next guy, but on Friday nights, after a week of work, I like to think I can always find a suitable location to blow off some steam. That could entail seeing a movie, bowling, or the old staple of going out for drinks. Whatever it is, and wherever it is, I want to be there and doing it.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I tell my best friend I love him every chance I get.
You should message me if
If you are someone who likes to take chances. I never expect anything, but I am always open to every opportunity. You should be someone who enjoys a good surprise every now and then, and someone who has no expectations either. If we meet up, it could be anywhere and we could end up all over, so be open to exploration.
