Alive!, Intelligent, and Friendly
My self-summary Propose an edit
My name is Kevin, I'm a programmer that has graduated from ITT (I
regret not indulging the usual college life unfortunately) who is
planning on moving into Cleveland (Or if I can help it, to New
York) this upcoming year. I'm a very friendly person who tends to
get along with all kinds of people. I love it, new people means new
experiences and there is so much in life to experience that I
welcome almost anyone to offer something new to do with life. No
matter how bad things get there is always something out there that
makes life worth living, even if it means abandoning everything and
heading traveling the world.
That said I'm a bit more down to Earth than what my desires would
lead some to believe. I think logically most the time and love
figuring out how things work, but at the same time am able to
accept that there are things beyond my understanding, for now.
Perhaps like the fact I'm deathly afraid of heights, but I love
heights, I love flying and I really want to sky dive and plan to
either this year or next. (Anyone wanna join me for a Tandem
Jump?)
I'm easy to get along with and almost always willing to lend an ear
or a shoulder if need be. I'm a very empathic person and can be
quite insightful when the situation calls for it. But I'm also
quite a kid at heart, if I can find a small area such as a curb to
walk on I'll make sure to tight rope walk my way across it just to
practice my balance :).
I love Japanese Culture, and Sushi is my favorite food, I could eat
it endlessly (Also I <3 making Rice balls). I'm not a picky
eater and love to try new foods, and just new things in
General.
I have AIM and Yahoo as well if you would like to chat, though I've
found the messenger here is pretty decent.
What I'm doing with my life Propose an edit
Right now I'm a programmer at LifeBanc who deals in Organ Donation,
I've started spending a lot of time working on a novel
unfortunately with how hard I am on my own writing, it'll be a
while, feel free to fake interest in it :) (or real interest is
acceptable too). Playing Video games, keeping up with the general
internet nonsense, and programming are ways I spend my free time.
Every now and then I get hooked on a good book, just finishing up
Beyond Good and Evil, thinking of rereading Neuromancer.
Right now I've been working on a website, increasing my
capabilities so that I can secure a better job and enjoy the more
expensive things the world has to offer along with the free things.
I'm really good at Propose an edit
I'm a jack of all trades, given time I can learn to do almost
anything, and when I set my mind to it can excel at them as well.
This probably part of why I get long with so many people, being
able to connect with a lot of people reasonable stems from one's
ability to adapt to different types of tasks.
I'm a fantastic listener, I am a mature responsible person, but I'm
also often carefree and perhaps a bit childish. Mainly in my love
of cartoons and my sometimes random nature.
The first thing(s) people usually notice about me Propose an edit
My red hair? Most certainly not my Welsch name, that goes over most
people's heads. They do tend to notice my bubbly personality and my
strong sense of empathy. Also blue eyes, but really, red hair
overshadows anything else.
My favorite books, movies, music, and food Propose an edit
I can appreciate and enjoy almost any type of music, giving me a
pretty wide variety of favorites, some artists off the top of my
head: DJ Taka, Outphase, Zombie Ghost Train, Coldplay, The Pixies,
Sana, Tomosuke/Orange Lounge for lesser known specifics. I <3
Styx and Pink Floyd, but love a lot of classic and new rock,
recently have been delving in Choplin and Vivaldi (Four Seasons for
the win). I love the group Bleu as well, Our Lady Peace is pretty
awesome too.
I haven't been reading much but Philosophy and Cyber Punk Novels,
generally I just let people recommend good books ore series and go
off of that, I find it allows me a broader spectrum.
Right now I am reading Beyond Good and Evil by Frederich Nietzsche.
If you'd like to discuss some of his philosophies that'd be
awesome, after I read some of his translated stuff I'm looking into
diving into John Locke.
The six things I could never do without Propose an edit
Video Games, Music, Internet (Oh how I love the sweet sweet
internet) People, Japanese Culture, the ability to travel.
I spend a lot of time thinking about Propose an edit
The things in life I want to enjoy, where I want to go, what type
of people I want to meet. Also I spend a lot of time daydreaming
and working on the timeline for the novels I want to write, fixing
up what doesn't make sense as I play the story through my
head.
I spend a lot of time thinking about what I've done wrong and how
to improve it. Also trying to figure out where I want to go in
life, New York city gets more tempting every day.
Right now I just look forward and think about snowboarding and am
trying to relax a bit more, I feel like I've gotten a bit away from
who I really am as of late.
On a typical Friday night I am Propose an edit
Either going out with friends, staying home and playing video
games, or writing while listening to music. Drinking as well :).
