My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
If I were to sum myself up in one sentence, I would have to invent adjectives that combine many of my interests together. At least that'd make me inventive, right?

I am a cat-loving, computer-coding, music-playing, fun-creating dude, whom has ounces of charisma when shy, and gigagrams of charisma when comfortable. Yes... that's a word:

I enjoy philosophical talks, I like silly accents, I cuddle when intimate, and I say "sláinte" when toasting.

I am immune to Acrophobia, arachnophobia, and the occasional broken guitar string.
I fear losing myself to stagnation, getting rejected before showing my true self, and fates worse than death (nobody's told me what they are yet!)
My strengths are witty banter, awful puns, nerding out, playing music, cooking, and using the oxford comma.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I'm a software engineer who writes automation code to make computers do things for themselves! I also advise in networking and server maintenance.

When not at work, I'm usually found playing music with my band, and trying to make something of myself. I have a passion for writing and righting wrongs... I usually write them first though.

Sometimes when I'm bored, I'll find a new recipe and experiment with cooking, because let's be honest, who wants to eat bland?
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Playing the bass and guitar. Performing, and being a goofball on stage. Making noises that verge on the edge of singing. Cooking a delicious home cooked meal (I had 2 years of cultural cooking). Forming paragraphs out of disconnected but complete thoughts. Making people blow more air out of their nose than normal on the internet and in person.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I'm not going to lie or be ashamed by the fact that people comment on my eyes, more importantly my Eye-lashes!
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
I don't read much, but afford me The Hobbit, Angela's Ashes, Harry Potter, The Man Who Mistook His Wife For A Hat and Forrest Gump (the book, though the movie is good too).

I can watch anything! But I greatly enjoy the following movies: Avengers, Batman trilogy, Hot Fuzz, Inception, Lord of the Rings trilogy, The Ring, Robin Hood- Men in Tights, Shawn of the Dead, Shutter, Shutter Island, Star Wars (IV-VI), Mel Brooks movies... though this is just off the top of my head.

As for TV, I almost exclusively pick something on Netflix to watch, and I'm really not caught up on current TV for the past 5 years, except for Walking Dead. I also enjoy IT Crowd, Robot Chicken, and I just started watching Bobs Burgers.

Music: Rock, Punk, Grunge, Oldies, Pop-rock! I'm branching out though, my new band is more hip-hop oriented and I'm experimenting with my tastes in that. I like Classics like The Beatles and Rolling Stones. Punk like Bad Religion, or The Vandals. Alternative like Incubus, Stone Temple Pilots, Soundgarden, and Hoobastank. And Pop-Punk like New Found Glory and Fall Out Boy.

My taste buds are adventurous, but you'll score extra points with Sushi or Italian!
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Computer, Guitar, Music, Family, Friends, Lazy days.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
How to make dating sites better, or at least how to make a game-show out of them.
Lyric or song ideas that are decently catchy.
Getting off the internet and going outside.
I've been spending a fair amount of time learning music theory and practical composition as well.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Playing music! Whether its with friends, or alone. Live or recorded.

If not, I'm probably trying to promote my band via social media, or relaxing at a bar, or at home hanging with my roommates.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I grew up with anxiety. It's when you can't control your fear in stressful situations. Guess what that made me: better at stressful situations! Next weakness!
