My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I enjoy doing a wide variety of activities. I live in the North County Coastal area, so I am constantly out exploring the area. I spend a good portion of my weekends outdoors. I enjoy hiking, spending time at the beach, skiiing, camping, biking and backpacking. I really like baseball; nothing better than spending a sunny afternoon at a game. Generally I just like to be out doing something; I'm pretty open to trying new things.
I would describe myself as a jack of all trades and a master of none. I enjoy doing a variety of activities, but I can't say that I have a passion for anything specific. That's not to say I'm not a passionate person. I came from a big family and my family is important to me. I grew up in Wyoming and went to school in Colorado, so I love the mountains. I think I'm fairly down to earth and I definitely appreciate the simple things in life.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I have my dream job as a trade show manager. I love going to work (most days). I have an awesome boss and work with great people. I stay pretty busy and travel about 30% of the time.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
This is going to sound really boring, but I'm really good at organizing. Some people might call me OCD, but I take great pleasure in creating order from chaos.
On the fun side of things, I'm relatively good at a lot of things, but I'm not exceptionally excellent at any one thing.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
No idea.
I think their first impression of me is that I am a "hippie". I'm not really sure why that is, since I am totally not. Maybe it's the long hair, joint hanging out of my mouth and Birkenstocks (just kidding). I think it's just because I don't feel the need to dress to impress all the time. I'm pretty casual and believe in comfort over fashion.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
I can't say I have a favorite book. I usually only watch a movie once and read a book once. They each stick with me in different ways.
My favorite movie is definitely Love Actually, but I enjoy many different movies. I usually stick with RomCom, comedy or drama, but don't mind occasional Sci-Fi, Action, or Fantasy (Lord of the Rings type, not porn). You can never really go wrong with Will Ferrell.
I don't watch a lot of TV: Modern Family, Mad Men, Homeland, Girls, Nat Geo, Discovery Channel.
Food: Where to begin? I love it!
Love Sushi, NY style pizza, pastas, a big juicy burger, Asian fare (no kimchi or balut, though), Taco shop Mexican, home cooked.
Music: I really listen to just about everything, but I could do without rap and most hip hop and really old country. But I find I'm not one of those people who always has music going. Good music doesn't have to be deep for me to enjoy it, I can rock out to Ke$ha if there's a fun beat. (but only one bubblegum pop song at a time).
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Close Friends
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Depends on the week.
I may be out grabbing dinner or hunting down some live music.
Otherwise, take out and a movie.
I usually look forward to some sort of activity on Friday nights, but if it's been a long week, I will probably save that for Saturday and just keep it low key.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I color coordinate my closet. (Lame, I know).
