Hey, I'm Mike, I tend to spend a lot of time thinking, and contemplating various different aspects of life, and philosophy. I intend to write all my thoughts down eventually but I spend so much time in the thought and developing the ideas that I never get round to it.

My interest in philosophy and the thoughts I have developed over the years has led me to posessing my own personal belief that is continuelly devloping with every new thought. One book that had a great impact upon some of my ideas was Hagakure by Yamamoto Tsunetomo. While reading it I found a lot of the ideas were very logical and great little peices of wisdom.

I can play Guitar, Bass Guitar nad a little bit of keyboard. I also compose, record and produce music in my home studio as well.

I'm presently at Sunderland University training to be a Teacher in the lifelongl earning sector (ie 16+). I'm specialising in teaching music technology and music production, so that should hopefully be fun.

I also play bass in the band Cult of Whores and Dogs and we are currently writing our debut ep entitled Prostitution Racket. It's quite a departure from my solo material but variation is good, it keeps the creative juices flowing.

I'm not very good at saying what I'm good at but people are always telling me I'm good at this or that, so maybe I am good at some stuff. In the end good is subjective really depending on whom or what I'm being compared to.

I'm not sure if its the first thing they notice but the thing most people tend to comment on is my rather long hair.

There are in no particular order by the way, though I suppose the order in which I thought of them does say soemthing but anyway...

I like to think about pretty much everything involved with Life and death, existence, god, religion, philosophical and plotical ideas, I'm also fascinated by psychology.

Occcasionally rather random thoughts cross my mind too for example if someone is uanble to speak or hear from birth, do they have a voice in their head when they think? If so what does it sound like?

I'm usually watching a DVD, often with me Dad or brother. But sometimes I do go out, I recently went to see Eddie Izzard on a friday night. If I do go out in an evening I prefer gigs to clubs.
