My self-summary
I'm a geek. A geek in the sense that everything I end up getting into, seems to always interest me, or I find something about it that's interesting. This is a great aspect, however, can cause me trouble. Although I've finished school at the moment I still continue to pursue academic readings and interests in many ranging fields, ranging from English, to Philosophy, to Math(The chosen field), to Biochem, to Classical History, to Modern History. Although there is this much choice, I've finally finished my degree in Math. An honours, with a background in Physics.

I play the French Horn, as well as a few other instruments (Including my recent procurement of an Accordion). I've been playing for over 11 years now, and even though I've had no formal training, I've gotten the opportunity to play with the Winnipeg Youth Orchestra for a couple years. Was an amazing experience to actually play the classical music that I can be fond of.

I can be eccentric, but am fairly quiet most of the time. If I'm with people I'm comfortable around, then I start being a little more crazy. The world just leaves itself open for humour, and to survive one must be able to laugh.

I am geeky, a polymath, and continually pondering.
What I’m doing with my life
This year, I've finally done it, and finished that crazy degree known as a B.ScH in Mathematics. I now have the chance to stand among the few who call themselves "mathematicians" and earn a spot in the history books.

I've carved myself a niche out working as a financial analyst working for an amazing company and wouldn't trade it for anything in the world.

I have always wanted to be a teacher, and quite enjoy it. I'm still torn about how to go and achieve the goals I've personally sought out, including but not limited to a renewal of the public education system. It gave me a huge passion of allowing to let other students think, learn, and grow, is just impressive.

I'm a bit of an introvert, but if someone goads me a little, will get me out to do stuff.

I'm a closet musician. I'm a classical/jazz man (In playing, that is), but I love every style of music, or at least some tracks within each genre. My tastes rotate on a continual basis, from one to another. As said previously, I do continue to play french horn, and adore learning such an epic instrument such as the Accordion. Classical french, italian and russian music really gives a gorgeous sound.
I’m really good at
Being crazy, having fun, causing some sort of trouble, singing (Okay, not really, but I enjoy doing it), playing musical instruments (Ok, so I think I'm good at these last two. It's still to be seen if I am actually really that good), cooking and creating food.
The first things people usually notice about me
It seems everytime someone mentions something, it's usually my blue eyes.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Books: Lord of the Rings, Paradise Lost, Heart of Darkness, Lord of the Flies, All of the Dune Series(Both by Frank Herbert, and his son), Cryptonomicon, Le Petit Prince, Redwall series, Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas, The Rum Diaries, Hunter S. Music: ANYTHING. I listen to a wide selection of genres. The big thing is that my tastes rotate, and I prefer some over the others. Primary styles I listen to: Punk, Pop, Rock, Indie(Local Indie, that is), Classical, Jazz, Any pop.

Foods: I do a lot of cooking, which allows me to make whatever I feel like. I love oriental food, good seafood. Being on the east coast let me find that fresh lobster, does, indeed, make a decent replacement for turkey at thanksgiving.
The six things I could never do without
A good book, a journal and a pencil, hot tea, music, and good friends.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Anything that crosses my mind.
On a typical Friday night I am
Hanging with friends, playing board games.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I have a scar on my forehead of which I earned from when I was doing yardwork as a young kid, and walked into a drain pipe.
