My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I was born in Iran right after the revolution of '79. I was 3 years old when my parents decided they didn't want to raise me under the rule of the Supreme Leader, so they bolted (with me, thanks mom and dad).

I grew up in the bay area, spent some time in LA, NYC, and Baltimore training as an eye surgeon. I just finished my training and drove all the way back to San Francisco, where I'm setting up shop. It's really nice to be back on the best coast.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Adjusting to life in San Francisco, which is a big and very welcome change of pace from life on the east coast.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Sizing up which hills I can climb on my bike.

Feeling totally relaxed and not awkward when the barber gives me a shoulder massage after my haircut.

Speaking in a Scottish accent.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Sometimes old family friends who haven't seen me since I was a kid say I look "distinguished". But don't be fooled, it's just the salt and pepper hair.

The most private thing I’m willing to admit

I went to THREE Jason Mraz concerts in 2001. It makes me cringe now, but I can't deny that it was the smoothest year of my life.
