My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I'm weird, in a good way. I'm looking for someone with compatible weirdness.

I'm a pretty mellow kind of guy who never misses an opportunity to crack a joke, often a bad pun. Comedy writing is a hobby of mine. My sense of humor is fairly dry. I'm pretty outgoing, but I can be shy too. I'm pretty left-leaning, and I don't subscribe to religion.

I'm a semi-professional artist, Photography mostly. I am taking the steps to make that be my full-time vocation. I have a couple sets of Portland and Oregon postcards I have made and sell, and I do commissioned photo work in portraiture, and real estate. I enjoy being influenced by all types of creativity. Three contemporary people I see as creative geniuses: Andy Goldsworthy, Banksy, Frank Zappa.

I love exploring new places, both in Portland and elsewhere. I really enjoy being out in nature, especially if there is an opportunity to see some wild animals.

My favorite flower is the bird of paradise, and I like the smell of old books and the sound of breaking glass.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Always creating.

Currently, I'm working on a new photography art project, and marketing the postcards I've done, as well as a greeting card I have out. I also do volunteer photography for nonprofits. Last year I did a series of holiday greeting cards for a nonprofit that helps veterans who have post-traumatic brain injuries.

That, and remembering to take time to relax as well (learning the importance of that). I've been meditating again lately, and I've found it very beneficial. Catching up on some books when I can, too.

I have also been discovering the genius of Adventure Time.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Taking pictures, making people laugh, and putting the seat down.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
My eyes or my voice.

Music is very important to me. Way too many bands and artists to name. I love most all the genres, and sub genres of rock, I love R&B, jazz, hip-hop, classical, electronic, classic country. I like music with heart.

I like to discover cool music I've never heard before. Either new or classic stuff that's gotten past me.

The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Creativity, my place in the universe, sex, human existence, humor, business, other people, pop culture, nature.
You know, the usual stuff.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Either working, out with friends or hangin' at home.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I air-drum when I'm in a great mood.

That, and I can't grow a full beard.

You appreciate a guy who would make up a joke like this:

Why did Napoleon have his arm in a cast?

Because he had a bone apart.
