My self-summary
I'm just a regular everyday normal guy, but not really. Born in Brazil, moved to the US in 2000 and my family has just been here ever since. I can speak Portuguese, Spanish, and English pretty fluently and I'm working on German right now. I'm just a Happy Hypocrite really. My life is full of contradictions and I've come to accept that. To quote Mr. Whitman "Do I contradict myself? Very well, then I contradict myself, I am large, I contain multitudes."
What I’m doing with my life
Typical 22 year old people things; going to college, having fun, drinking more than I should (or just the right amount).
I’m really good at
Listening to others, making spaghetti (damn good at that), and enjoying life. Playing League of Legends.
PS. I'm also really good at scaring my friends while driving (hey, learning to drive in DC and Brazil will do that. I just makes it makes for a more exciting drive :D).
The first things people usually notice about me
I am yet to hear it, but I change my accent depending on who I'm with.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Too many to name really. My taste in movies reflects that of a 10 year old, my taste in music that of someone born in the 60's and my taste in books that of an English major (and it is!). So there you go. d(^.^)b
The six things I could never do without
Tula (best puppy ever)
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Doing something that will one day turn the world on its head.
On a typical Friday night I am
Spending time with my friends in some form or another. Or studying to take over the world I can never remember which.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I hate the stigma that comes with religion. The moment I tell someone that I'm in school studying to be a pastor in the United Methodist Church, they immediately change their view on me and see me in a new light. Not necessarily positive or negative, but more so in a way that changes how they act around me for fear of how I might see them. I'm just a regular everyday normal guy who believes in God. I'm looking for someone to date, enjoy my time with, and have fun. Just look at me for who I am, and don't allow the religion to get in the way, the same way I wont allow it to cloud my eyes to see you for who you really are.
Rant over.
You should message me if
You want someone to talk to, or maybe you just felt like sending a random message, who knows?
