My self-summary

Skipping this. The good stuff is down below.

(good & bad are subjective)
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Not a lot, but who does much of anything any more? Can't quite figure out why other than 'why not?' Trying to figure out the next step.

Maybe I should move away from a step-based model altogether and move towards a more water-like approach, moving between solid, liquid and gas as appropriate at each decision. Maybe I'm halfway there already, the lily-pad approach - solid under duress but yielding to gentle pressure. Maybe I've dragged out this metaphor too far and you've already stopped reading.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Fist pumping - football matches, low-key victories, the dropping of stellar tunes or some other subversive activities, if a fist needs pumping, I'm your man.

Waffling - see above/ below/ mail me.

So, in summary, nothing.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
That I look like my brother, which places our parents in a particular (good) moral light.

People like to point out that I'm short, which I'm grateful for every time. Doesn't really bother me, though, it's good shorthand for mean people to expose themselves with.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

Check me out, be my friend:

Books: I don't read enough. College has ruined me.

Movies: I'm a big fan of genre movies, especially weird ones made in the 70s. I really dig Malick, Wes Anderson, PT Anderson, Refn and Scorsese, too, but whom among the serious makers of these lists doesn't? If you want a quick top 5, I'd maybe say: The Conversation, Heat, Andrei Rublev, Badlands and The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford (full title, every time). Spring Breakers holds a special place in my heart, too.
I've also tried my hand at making a short film, but directing isn't really for me, I prefer to write and edit. I find them more fun, maybe it's the solitude.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
swearwords - all of them (full disclosure: derogatory terms ≠ swears)
cheap drink - most of it
cool strangers - sometimes
public transport - too much
great and clever things that i can understand
the idea that sometime in the future, things might be slightly better cuz everything sucks now
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
That time I cried over spilled milk. Symbolic, I suppose, and a good indication of what was to befall me afterwards.

Good and clever tweets. Mostly they're not clever or good but quite sad.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Usually shut indoors, to be honest. Otherwise living a suburban nightmare of drinking in the same pub and sharing uneasy pleasantries with the boys who terrified me in primary school. That's a weird jump, actually, going from dodging the hardest bastard in the school yard to dodging around his stumbling frame as he falls out of a cubicle, wiping whatever residue from his nose. Sound lads all the same.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I over think things, it's a hereditary thing, apparently. Fortunately, I'm mostly inactive so I'll only ever fry my own brain and then do nothing about it, which is good and bad I suppose.

Also: All Saints' Pure Shores is a banger.

If you want more of this meandering wordage in your life. I wouldn't blame you if you don't.
If you have also cried over spilt milk, we may be able to compare notes and come to some sort of conclusions as to why we were so traumatised.
If you know what 'activity partners' refers to could you please tell me, I hope it might involve rock climbing but I feel it won't - let's be fair, it probably involves piss.
Unless - fuck it, who wants to go rock climbing?
