My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I have an irrational desire to work for myself, though whether this actually makes my life more easier or better is debatable. I would like to say that this has made me extremely rich but at the moment that wouldn't be true. Though a sense of personal satisfaction is something that money can't buy.

I also have a predisposition to procrastinate, I read a few self-help about it until I realised that this was another form of procrastination as well.

I like to think about the world and what is going on a lot. So if you see me standing in the middle of the room and staring into space, that's what I'm doing.

That said sometimes I like to absorb myself in less serious things and like to let it all go. I love music and dancing (though usually when no-one is looking). I have been told I have a unique dancing style like a soup dragon (not someone from the indie band but the thing from the Clangers).

Some other things I like:

I like reading, sometimes to escape but mostly because I love learning about new things, there are always new things to try and learn.

Music & silence. I know I already said I like music but it's worth mentioning again. I've got a big pile of records (unfortunately in storage at the minute) and loads of mp3s. I also fiddle about making music (or maybe it's just a racket), I'd like to learn jazz / funk keyboards. I also like silence because I like to think and drift of into space. It's all about balance.

Sitting by a fire in the rain. I like being outdoors, I live in the city at the minute but have spent a lot of my time living in the countryside and in fairly remote places. I like looking into fires – it's very hypnotic, and it's a good excuse for staring into space and just stopping for a while.

I am looking for a open-minded person who is interested in the world and has a creative outlook on life. Someone who is happy to stay in but also occasionally likes to go out on the wild side.

I guess most people overly try to impress and come across as perfect when writing these things, but I thought I'd also list a few faults, if you can put up with these get in touch, I'm sure we will get along just fine.

Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I'm taking a year out from studying at the OU, looking forward to returning to it though and will be glad when it's done.

My favourite books are "Danny Champion of the World" by Roald Dahl, "Das Kapital" by Karl Marx and "Whichever Way We Turn" by Dominic Reeve

Favourite films, probably Blade Runner, Pans Labyrinth, Land and Freedom...

Music, too much to list. I mainly like electronic dance music but listen to other kinds as well, wherever the mood (or shuffle button) takes me.
