My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Hey, I'm a recent Purdue University graduate, and I'm still hanging around the Lafayette area so I can hang out with my friends. I'm working as a youth counselor at a special needs school, so I'm keeping busy helping out kids with special needs.
I generally suffer from a bad case of "I'll do my work later" so that I can go out and hang with my friends. Or better yet (and more specifically), hang out and play D&D. I like to watch Anime, and play Video Games. Of games, I especially like the Zelda, Final Fantasy, and Harvest Moon series. Most people think Harvest Moon is weird but it takes a strange understanding of the game to truly value it, or at least that is what I think.
A bit rant'ish but I think it gets the point across...

I am sensitive, empathetic, and a survivor
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I'm aiming to become a Game Designer, and hopefully my degree in Computer Graphics Technology and minor in Computer Science will help land me job at a reputable company. But then again, one can only hope.
Recently I have also been looking at applying to the JET Programme, but I wasn't accepted, which might have been the best considering recent events (wishing everyone the best over in Japan). Still, it got me at least a bit interested in education, which is where I work now.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Being almost completely oblivious. Really, I am. When I am not completely missing the point, I am fairly good at remembering completely pointless rules for the role-playing games that I play.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Is my long hair, I wear it in a pony tail down my back and I try to keep myself well groomed. To explain, I have been growing out my hair since High School. In fact, I have paid for a hair cut only once since before High School started. Since, I have cut my hair four times, Winter '05 and Summer '07, Summer '10, and Summer '13. Three of the four times I donated it to Locks of Love so the hair cut was free. The fourth time I still donated the hair, but the policy at the salon had changed so I payed for the cut while they handled the donation as a complimentary service. A lot of people comment on my hair, some girls find it kind of weird but a lot of the time they either love it or are jealous. "shrug"

(Books) The Wheel of Time Series as well as The Lord of the Rings. I stumbled across Mercedes Lackey a while back and I really enjoying her Dragon Jousters series, check out the first book, Joust, if you like dragon stories. Also liked the Girl with the Dragon Tattoo trilogy.

(Movies) The Lord of the Rings Trilogy, as well as Underworld and Boondock Saints, also a few others I can't remember. I'm also a fan of just about all of Hayao Miyazaki's films, so most of Studio Ghibli.

(Music) Classical, but interestingly enough I also like Electronic Music. I'll really listen to almost anything. Most of the music I have bought has been soundtracks to various things that I like.

(Food) I love Italian and Japanese, and I try to be open to just about anything. My motto is that I'll try anything twice, once for a first try and a second time to make sure it wasn't just a fluke...
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
1. Computers
2. Dungeons & Dragons or RPG's in general
3. Some sort of Video Game System
4. Food, but then again we all need that
5. Anime
6. Music
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
What could have been, and what may have happened. But mostly trying to convince myself that I should spend my time doing something more productive and less depressing. But then again some things just always drag me back to dwell on the past that I try to move myself beyond.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Out with my friends playing Dungeons and Dragons. We get together and try to have fun using the ultimate reaches of our imaginations.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I'll cry at the emotional stuff in shows and movies. If it gets to me, I won't hold back. I think it can even help make those really deep scenes hit on an even deeper level.
