I'm...well. Me. Yumi. Or Kiki to others. I'm a nerd. I'm an avid reader, and gamer, a mild Japanophile, and I tend to be uncomfortably open at times. I'm learning to find a happy medium between relaxing with a good movie and friends, and exhausting myself with spur of the moment adventures. I'm going to school full-time (16 units at Sac City. I'm going to die.)

Also, I'm very happily taken by my hippie, MrDBH. I find him rather dashing, and quite a bit of fun to be around.

I'm hoping to become a psychologist of some kind; either a sex therapist, or LGBT youth counselor. I'm very much into LGBT issues; it's become a huge part of my life, and I plan on doing my best to help my community.

I want to go on great adventures. Not like climbing Mount Everest, or traveling across the world (though I'd like to). I want to go on adventures of the mind, of the soul. I want to discover things about myself that are nearly as amazing as the great pyramids. I want to feel things that most don't get to enjoy out of the human experience. So I've been taking more time for me lately so I can learn who I am and can share myself with others.

Video games, like Halo 3, Silent Hill, Fatal Frame, Mario Kart: Double Dash, Trauma Center, Dance Dance Revolution, Guitar Hero, No More Heroes and Katamari Damacy. There are plenty more that I like, but I suck at, like Portal, Resident Evil 4, Tekken, and Starcraft.

I like writing, and I'm told I'm decent at it: (ink-and-inertia.deviantart.com). And I'm good at giving advice.
I'm also extremely good at being a dork.

People often say I'm not what they expect when they approach me. Not sure if that's a good thing or not. You tell me. And my skin color. I can't tell you how many conversations have been started with questions about my heritage.

As for food, I'll eat pretty much anything that doesn't have bananas in it (they make me sick.) However, I absolutely love pineapple juice, any kind of pasta (especially Japanese noodles, like udon, and somen and so forth), and I will kill for good couscous. Oh, and I love a nice bloody steak. I really only cook my steak so it's warm, not because it's supposed to be cooked. I like it as rare as people are willing to make it.
