My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I have no idea what I'm doing. I feel like I need flashing lights and maybe a pony or something to make my profile "good". I have an awesome personality but have trouble getting that across in a paragraph or two. So here is the run down. I try and live my life by treating others the way I want to be treated. I'm a Christian, I love to cook, pinot noir is amazing, music is my escape, I love spending time outdoors, I love the smell of Lowes/Home Depot, and I'm a sucker for a good harmonica. I'm very self aware, I know exactly who I am, strengths and weaknesses. I'm a passionate person about a lot of things so feel free to ask me what I'm passionate about. If you don't like romance then I'm not your guy, I'd like to think I'm still coming up with new chivalrous ways to treat a woman.

I'm looking for someone who has a similar value system as myself. I'd like to find someone to compliment me in areas I'm "not so good in" I love spontaneity but the Accountant in me wants to plan. I'm looking for someone who appreciates laughing until their stomach hurts and enjoys having doors opened for them, even the car door. I'm attracted to someone who has their life in order, even though it may look like a messy office. I'm looking for someone who has values in their life and goals that are in line with mine. Most importantly I'm looking for a teammate, someone who understands what a relationship truly is. I am not here for a hookup and I'm definitely not here to waste your time or mine.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Enjoying every minute of it! Cherishing new friendships, maintaining old friendships, cooking amazing food, making my friends laugh, saving money and being awesome. I have a solid career that I enjoy greatly. I also own a healthcare consulting business. I'm not a slave to my job nor am I required to work a gazillion hours a week or travel a ton. I'm very happy with my "plan" thus far. I definitely plan on getting married but am in no rush to do it tomorrow or even next week.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Giving people food orgasms, cooking, reading people, Math, making people laugh, making guacamole, setting goals and achieving them, saving, giving, and having fun. Also, golf, soccer, chess, scatagories, and most board games. I love being outdoors so things like white water rafting, camping, hiking, boating, fishing are right up my alley. I also love traveling and discovering what cities have to offer.

Magazines: Men's Health, Bon Appétit, and Golf Digest.

Books: Currently reading Born To Run. Some interesting reads for the year have been Blue Like Jazz, Seraching For God Knows What, The Noticer, and The 5 Love Languages.

Movies: What About Bob, Dumb and Dumber, Good Will Hunting, anything with Morgan Freeman. Mostly comedy and action type movies.

Music: The Killers, Dave Matthews Band, Smashing Pumpkins are my top 3. Other favorites include, Foo Fighters, 30 Seconds to Mars, Them Crooked Vultures, Weezer, Breaking Benjamin, Everclear, Incubus, Yellowcard, Jack Johnson, Hot Hot Heat, Franz Ferdinand, Armor For Sleep, Jimmy Eat World, Snow Patrol, Switchfoot, Frank Sinatra, Tom Petty and Mat Kearney. I love all kinds of music though and have chosen not to type out the three to four hundred bands that I have in my ipod.

Food: I've gone Paleo. FRESH ingredients! Things from scratch, not frozen stuff, ya know, the stuff your grandmother made. Italian, Mexican, Greek, Sushi, I'm willing to try pretty much anything and wholeheartedly believe good food brings people together better than anything.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
In no specific order:
Family and Friends
Pinot Noir
Green and white tea
Chef's knife
Pestol and Mortar
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Why the hell am I still single!? Why people keep saying that I look like Mitchell from Modern Family. The goals that I've set for myself. Wondering if things go round by chance? Is patience really a virtue? Where did all the good people go? Wondering why the people I'm attracted to aren't attracted to me and all of the people I don't find attractive, find me attractive.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Having drinks with some friends, cooking dinner for friends, totally dominating a board game night, enjoying the great tapas at Barcelona's or devouring the best sushi in Indianapolis at Yokahama or sitting at home being unproductive.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit

Evidently, I'm a beta male. Who knew?
I've never eaten a Big Mac and haven't eaten a hamburger since Feb. 1996. I shave in the shower.
I have a birthmark "tramp stamp".
For some reason whenever it's cold outside I listen to entirely too much rap music.

How many girls actually message guys on this thing or any other dating/social networking site? Anyway, I take the time to read profiles before I message someone and my messages always consist of something substantial not "hey how r u? or UR hot!" So if you do receive a message from me please have the courtesy of responding even if you think we really don't have much in common, you don't find me attractive or whatever reason you have.
