Hello my name is Kim, but mostly Kimmy or Jimmy for a very select few. (You'll have to ask about that one). Anyways, I'm slightly new to the area. I moved here in May of 2012. It's not bad and I've made some great friends so far and I enjoy my job and hopefully moving up. Keep your fingers crossed for me! :-)

I come from North East PA, (Scranton/Wilkes-Barre area) which i'm not gonna lie I miss a little bit, but only because of my family (parents), which includes my friends (sisters, not biological) and all around better restaurants.

I find myself to be selective sometimes when it comes to people I bring into my life. Although, I am friendly and kind to my acquaintances. I have three very close friends back home in PA (my sisters) and I now have a few down here as well.

I guess you would want to know a little bit more personality wise. My sisters tell me i'm unique and I have a tendency to be shy, opinionated, sassy, sometimes not very confident when it comes to the male species, and sarcastic. One of my friends here told me I remind them of Red from That 70's show (WHAT!) Pippy Long Stocking and Judy Garland...So, I guess that means I'm abrasive, annoying, and have awkward features that will never make me beautiful, but unique. I think I can live with that.

Although, in order to really form an opinion you would have speak with me and form one on your own. I promise I don't bite. LOL!

I currently work in the security field. I like what I do because I get to be around people all the time and I enjoy getting to be around all the different types of personalities. I eventually want to move up in the security field either with the organization i'm with now or possibly go to another if it opens up.

I currently have a paralegal degree and I am working on my criminal justice degree, I believe I'm gonna transfer to GMU in March to finish it. (Online classes suck).

Laughing at noting in particular.

That I have way to much energy;
My laugh I have to say if i'm gonna do it I want to make sure I give it my all;
My eyes they are very dark and a little slanted; and
I have little points at the top of my ears.

Movies - I haven't been to the movies in a while, but my favorite; types are action and comedy;
Shows- I don't watch much TV any more, but if I do it's Castle;
Music - O.A.R. and everything else in between. I'm really not picky when it comes to music except when it comes to rap. I will not listen to rap music.; and
Food - I'm particularly fond of Mexican, Thai, and Japanese.

How everyone should live in the moment because every second you spend angry or upset is a second of happiness you can never get back.

I say this because every day I go to work I come across at lot of people who are just plain miserable. Co-workers and passengers. I find it very sad.

Since I've been here I work on a typical Friday night. MY Friday night is Sunday and I usually just go home after work and read. I tend to go out on my Thursday night. Some of my co-workers and I usually just hit up Finnegan's Bar and Grill over in Ashburn.

Sometimes I wonder why it's worth getting tangled up with people and emotions, but then I realize that when you're down, when you're wallowing, someone you mattered to would ask if you were ok.
