My self-summary
I'm Kevin and if you're reading this it means you're checking out my profile for one reason or another. I'm sure that everybody dislikes these self-summary things so I'm just going to say scroll down and read and if there's something you want to know that isn't on here yet send me a message and ask, I'm pretty open about most things.
What I’m doing with my life
Just started a new job as an assistant manager for a beauty and salon chain. Definitely moving up the ladder in the retail world, financially speaking. Spending my everyday helping people, which is still nice.
Musical theater and singing are passions of mine and someday I loved to be able to make a living doing them. Unfortunately right now this has taken the back burner. I haven't done much performing as of late but it's something I want to get back in to! I still sing all the time in the car and work on different pieces when I get inspired to do so!
I’m really good at
I consider myself a good singer and I can say I'm definitely great at harmonizing with other people. For some reason I can just pull out harmonies that sound good with anything, even if I've never heard the song before.

I also pride myself on being a good listener and a good friend. If anybody ever needs to talk I try and be there for them, sometimes all it takes if for someone to hear things they are thinking out loud to make them feel better.
The first things people usually notice about me
Usually, and this is such a generic answer but, my eyes. If people are seeing me in a show they are usually surprised by my voice and how it doesn't seem like it would come from my body. (I actually get that a lot, I tend to take it as a compliment. Hear me sing sometime and you'll understand.)
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Books: Anything Tamora Pierce, John Green, David Levithan or Maureen Johnson. Harry Potter, The Book Of Lost Things, Un Lun Dun, His Dark Materials Trilogy, The Perks Of Being A Wallflower among many others.

Movies: The Help, Easy A, Pitch Perfect, anything Studio Ghibli or Hayao Miyazaki, Disney movies (Lion King, The Little Mermaid, Tangled, Frozen) Pixar (The Incredibles, Finding Nemo, Monsters Inc) The Iron Lady, Kick Ass, The Devil Wears Prada, Harry Potter, Nick and Norah's Infinite Playlist, The Perks Of Being A Wallflower, Serenity, Mean Girls, The X-Men Movies.

Shows: Doctor Who, Downton Abbey, Buffy The Vampire Slayer, Firefly, Once Upon A Time, Ru Paul's Drag Race, Smash, Sherlock, I watch TONS of Food Network shows (Chopped, Cutthroat Kitchen and Restaurant Impossible being some of my favorites.) I also watching anime from time to time (One Piece, Digimon Adventures, Ouran High School Host Club, Princess Jellyfish, CardCaptor Sakura, etc)

Music: Mainly musicals because that's what I'm into but I also listen to Michelle Branch, The Barenaked Ladies, Gavin DeGraw, Josh Groban, Stevie Wonder, Fall Out Boy, Lady Gaga, Panic At The Disco, HelloGoodbye, Sara Bareilles, Rockapella, Kelly Clarkson, Pentatonix. For musicals some of my favorite composers are Stephen Schwartz, Kooman and Dimond, Scott Alan, Jason Robert Brown, Joe Iconis.

Food- I tend to have pretty simple tastes but I'll try anything once. I'm definitely a "let's go grab some pizza" kind of guy. Weirdest food I've ever had was Alligator Nuggets which were actually pretty good.
The six things I could never do without
1. Family/Friends (I'm counting as one because I consider my friends family.)
2. My Box-O-Sheet-Music
3. I-Phone (Sounds stupid but it's actually be a HUGE help to me at work as well as personally.)
4. I-Pod (This is actually different than my I-Phone because when I got the phone I kept my I-Pod for strictly music)
5. Books (Reading is one of my favorite things to do and it's weird because I don't do it enough!)
6. A Warm Bed
I spend a lot of time thinking about
...what I'm doing with my life, the choices I've made and if they were the right ones.
On a typical Friday night I am
Hanging out at home after work, either alone or with a friend. Usually just watching a movie or some TV, maybe grabbing some dinner. I'm pretty laid back and enjoy just staying in sometimes.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I'm still working, daily, on being comfortable with who I am. If you could bare with me and give me a chance it would be much appreciated.
You should message me if
you want to talk, about anything. If we have something in common and you just want to chat or you want to get to know me.
