Hi, my name is Kim, I'm a confident, intelligent and friendly woman. I'm currently on a gap year saving up money so I can head off to Oxford to do my Law degree in October. I enjoy interesting conversation, swimming, kickboxing, yoga, reading (with a passion) and dancing with friends. I am mainly looking for some people to have a good conversation with to pass the time until I can run off to uni!

That sounds too much like an advert in my opinion. I like people a little bit odd around the edges. I enjoy witty company and people who are passionate about anything that takes their fancy. I can't stand people who have nothing special or different about them, I just find them boring. I'm an extrovert geek.

Books. I love reading and my two favourite authors are Terry Pratchet and Stephen King. I was reared on them. Haha. I like a good series that you can really sink your teeth into. I'm not a big fan of pages upon pages of pure description and I really can't stand sterotypical gender role models in books, especially historical ones where the guy gets away with god awful behaviour and a woman is vilified. It just annoys me far too much. I love romance but there has to be some real tension in there, not 'oh no the girl over there obviously fancies my boyfriend', but 'oh no I have a werewolf nawing at my leg'. I love comic books but havent gotten round to reading many, been too busy interesting in practically everything. I have read Squee and JTHM by Jhonen Vasquez, he is a genius.

Films. I enjoy watching films, but good films. It's like my books I can read something average when I need to just tune out but I appreciate things that are a little more special. Films that I think are rather grand include: Amelie, Sin City, Persepolis, The Note Book, V for Vendetta, Belleville Rendezvous.

I adore comedy. I was reared on Eddie Izzard. I am I die hard fan of The Flight of the Conchords, love the mighty boosh and Garth Marenghi's Darkplace . A newly added heart throb includes the phenominally talented Tim Minchin :-D
