My self-summary
Mon français est bien meilleur que mon anglais, mais comme ce site est anglophone... bear with me!

I am a little skeptical of these online meeting sites. I also beleive that to self-summarize someone in such a small box is a little bewildering.
What I’m doing with my life
I am try to learn something new, all the time.

I work.
I love to swim, to cycle. I also jog a little.
I LOVE snorkling !
I try to make part of my routine and daily life. Thinking of trying yoga or pilates.
I took many tango lessons, but as they say, it takes 2 to tango...
I try to learn guitar through YouTube and I have come to the conclusion that I probably should sign up for REAL lessons. ;-)

I like trying new recipes, but I sometime regret it. Salads are so much tastier than complicated stuff.
I’m really good at
People say that I am good at explaining things, very clearly and I would have made a great teacher.

Listening and understanding people, no matter how odd they might think they are, no matter how they might be perceived. My sense of empathy allows me to be easily in symbiosis with people. That also explains why I get along with children very well.

Being very patient.
The first things people usually notice about me
My kindness. My enigmatic smile (you never know what I am smiling about). My eyebrows.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Books: Anything that allows me to travel in time (preferably in the past), in different locations, or in the most intriguing and fascinating place in the Universe: the human Mind. Patrick Suskind's Perfume remains one of my favorites.
J'aime lire des romans historiques et les auteurs qui savent jongler avec l'ironie.

Movies: Almost anything from The Sundance Film Festival. I love Almodovar, Jarmusch, Jeunet & Caro, Coen Brothers, Tim Burton, and so many other great directors. I am also a very big fan of Pixar. I enjoy going to AMC22 Forum, and just pick a movie.

Shows: Breaking Bad, House of Cards, Games of Thrones, True Detective, Desperate Houseviwes (I know, it's not very macho of me...)

Music: pretty much depends on my mood. But I just can't listen to hip-hop nor do I like "stardom": people who sell music more by their looks than by their sound. I don't like listening to the radio because I don't like the commercials. I have a weak spot for the '80... is it out of nostalgia? ;-)

And recently, I have also discovered "Silence". No, it's not the name of a band. It's the absence of noise. And it can be so soothing!

Food: anything but rapinis. But even though I could eat anything, I'd rather pick healthy food: it's easier to prevent than to cure, right?
The six things I could never do without
In no particular order:

The outdoors: forests, rivers, the sea, uninhabited places.

The variety of cultures/opinions/ways of life this planet shares.

The people I love.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
The people I love.

The faith of the Earth. (But I keep this to myself).
On a typical Friday night I am
... just about anywhere. Nothing is typical on a Friday night.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I often find talking with children more interesting than with many adults, because their imagination and sense of tolerance are limitless and they have no prejudice. Unlike many adults.
You should message me if
You have finally realized that perfect human beings do not exist. The best ones are just striving to get better with lots of dedication.

You are introspective and like sensitivity.

You are a tolerant and respectful human being.

You are NOT materialistic.
