While I enjoy the simplicity of a night at home, I do try to make the most of this city. There is always some sort of beer/chocolate/oyster/wine/food truck fest going on and I'm pretty good at finding them!

All of these, while good times, would most definitely be enhanced if I could share them with a lovely lady with an easy smile, quick wit, and a towel. (It's only the most massively useful thing an interstellar hitchhiker can have.)

What I’m doing with my life
New job as of late. Professional sausage maker. I've wanted to work on policy issues since I had a job at a homeless shelter and saw that, while it did a great job of helping rebuild their lives, it wasn't addressing the issues that caused homelessness in the first place.
I’m really good at
bicycling! In early September, I rode in the NYC Century. I'm from L.A. but didn't own a car until I was 32. I like to be contrarian that way. Ironically, it was my work on a clean air campaign at the Port of L.A. that finally forced me to buy a car.

Also, I've been practicing yoga for 12 years now. I prefer vinyasa/flow most times but an occasional kundalini to bliss out is always good. However, it wasn't until I started 90X this past year that I practiced on a fairly regular basis.

what to do this weekend. Also despairing over the dominance of money in our political system. That's why I try to focus on finding fun and cool things to do on the weekend. If it's all coming crashing down I might as well enjoy it before it does.
