My Notes edit

My self-summary

So I'd like to start off by saying that I have met the most wonderful, beautiful woman ever on this site, and I am more than happy with her. Words can not describe how awesomely amazing she really is, and no one could possibly compare. So, in light of this, I am only looking for friends.

That said, here's my profile.

The basics:
My name is Luke, and I am made up entirely of awesome.
If you were to dissect a normal human being, you would find bones, organs, tissue, blood, veins and things of that nature. If you were to dissect me (please don't), instead of the aforementioned things, you would find nothing but awesomeness.

Things I like:

-Paranormal Investigation, although I haven't gone "Ghost Hunting" in over two years...that makes me sad.

-World of Warcraft(I tried to ignore the call of the Lich King, but he got me...)

-Snakes and reptiles in general.

-Taking pictures of animals (especially elusive ones, like squirrels)

-Guitar hero and Rock band.

-Watching movies

-Working out (When I have the time)

-Making people laugh

-Music

-Thunder storms...the louder the better

-My cats (Eddie, and the nameless kitten)

-Horror movies (Especially Zombies)

-They Might be Giants, who I honestly think are the greatest band to ever walk the Earth.

-Reading, be it books, magazines or comics.

-The little things

-Various cheeses, especially cheddar.

-Wilderness survival and Bushcraft. (Just getting into it really. Need to work on my skills and get better gear.)

-Nature

-Biology (hence why I am majoring in it)

What I'm doing with my life

I'm in college at the moment, almost done with my first semester. Going to start with an Associates in Science (Biology Transfer path), and most likely end with a Bachelors in Biology or Zoology, possibly both since they are closely related.

This upcoming Winter will be my second season breeding ball pythons, and this time I have more than just my pastel male to breed. Woot!

I'm really good at

-Making people laugh

-Writing

-Procrastinating and pulling off "miracles". (I wrote my best friend's wedding speech...during the ceremony...in my head.) I'm learning though, that this doesn't work so well with Biology term papers.

The first thing(s) people usually notice about me

-I'm big

-I'm funny

-I'm sarcastic

I've made many random strangers and cashiers crack up...just being me.

My favorite books, movies, music, and food

A: "The way of the Scout" (Tom Brown Jr.),Infinite Self (Stuart Wilde), The Perks of being a wallflower, Soul Sword: The Way and Mind of the Warrior, The Zombie Survival Guide, Hagakure: The Book of the Samurai, On the Path of the Warrior, Fight Club, and I am in the process of reading many more. I've been reading about Taoism lately, and I am really diggin' it. I just recently started reading Neil Gaiman, and I like what I've read so far. (Ansanai Boys and Good Omens. Both were amazing) I will be reading more of his books in the future.

B:My top 10 favorite movies are Angus, Bruce Almighty, Stranger than Fiction, Juno, Dan in real life, Sin City, The Last Samurai, Clerks, High Fidelity and 300. I have TONS of Dvds. I like horror movies, especially if zombies are involved. (Although lately...it's been tough finding a horror movie that will scare me)

C: They Might be Giants, Reel Big Fish, The Refreshments/Roger Clyne and the Peacemakers, Less than Jake, Catch 22, Bon Jovi, Meatloaf, Phil Collins. (That's right, Phil Collins. What?), Blink 182, Boxcar Racer, Billy Idol, Bare Naked Ladies, Metallica, Travis Tritt, Native American Music, Green Day, All american rejects, johnny cash, metallica, new found glory, dashboard confessional, ataris, brian adams, hazen st, unsung zeros, yellowcard...i listen to it all. Emo, metal, some country, a little rap, hardcore, 80's, rock, oldies. Ask me. there are more. I listen to music all the time. asleep, awake, in the shower, at work. you name it! I live for music! I have eclectic tastes. I also think Nickelback is quite possibly the worst band to ever pick up instruments...and I wish they would vanish.

D: I'm an omnivore who leans more towards carnivorous. I'm not very picky either. As long as it's not still alive or staring at me, I'll try it.
I don't have a problem with vegetarians or vegans, as long as they don't expect me to not eat my burger just because they're around.

TV: I felt like adding it.
Big Bang Theory, How I met your mother, My name is Earl, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Angel, Firefly, Farscape (thanks sweety!), repeats of CSI and Law and Order, The Practice, Scrubs, Spin City.

(I know I didn't capitalize the beginning of each sentence, or band names...but there was so much typing that I really didn't feel like it. haha.)

The six things I could never do without

1. Romance (Especially the romance of one particular lady.)

2. My pets. (Snakes and cats). They're fun to have around.

3: The little things in life. They keep my head from asploding...

4: Music: Asleep, awake, in the shower, at work...you name it...music is there.

5: Sleep.

6: Friends and family: The back bone of any strong person.

I spend a lot of time thinking about

The future, the meaning of things, who I really am, random stuff. I can be thinking about anything from the genetics of a snake to what a tuna melt pizza would taste like. (And it sounds yummy) I've been known to blurt out philosophical thoughts a random intervals... as well as things that have NOTHING to do with the current topic of conversation.

On a typical Friday night I am

Hanging out with Christine :)
(She would be the girl mentioned at the beginning of my profile)

The most private thing I'm willing to admit here

I'm not a typical "guy".
I hate cars, I don't find many super models attractive (I like REAL women) and I don't really like beer.
I mean, don't get me wrong, I like myself a good UFC fight, and explosions in movies capture my attention...
just don't expect me to give a crap about whether a car has four or six cylinders.

You should message me if

You want to make a new friend, or you are searching for an Arch-nemesis and think I could play the part. I need an Arch-nemesis. Life just doesn't seem complete without someone waiting to foil my diabolical plans! (I'm not really sure exactly how diabolical my plans really are...but...they need foiling.)
