I am born and raised in Akron and I love it here. Not saying I would never move away because I expect I will someday. To say a bit about myself seems strange but my friends say I am fun, cheerful, and loyal.

I am not much of a drinker nor do I smoke, ever. I do consider myself a Christian but that can turn people off due to how some "Christians" act. I guess I would say I follow what the bible says and teaches. I don't force my views on others nor look down on those of other religions or beliefs. I am called to love everyone and not to hate, so that is what I do. With my beliefs, I do not think I would be such a great fit for judgmental people.

I went to college for music education at U of A but changed to networking. With my schooling, I have a fine appreciation for many different types of music and the talent it takes to perform like they do. I played trombone from elementary school till my 3rd year in college but have not touched it in a while unfortunately. I am not a fan of rap, country, or death metal.

The pictures you have probably seen are of my niece (brother side) and nephew (sister) and I love them dearly. I am the youngest of three and still have a great relationship with all of my immediate family and relatives.

I love dogs more then cats but I do have both. I look forward to having a full bred German shepherd. Not a huge fan of small dogs but they have their uses for certain owners.

Right now I am working full time for a small software company.

The first thing people would probably notice about me is my beard. I used to have just a goatee or clean shaven but I prefer having a beard. Without facial hair I think I look like I am 13.

My favorite books and movies would include a very long list. Let us start with books.

My favorite author is Ted Dekker, a suspense writer. I have read more then half of his books and am trying to read all of them. I also enjoyed the Harry Potter books and the Hunger Games series. I am also working on the Jack Reacher series.

Movies would include many different genres. Here are a few: Star Wars, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Serenity, Lord of the Ring, She's Outta my League, Stranger then Fiction, Moulin Rouge, Romeo+Juliet, and others.

Shows would be: Battlestar Galactica, Firefly, MacGyver, Star Trek - TNG, Homeland, Dexter, Doctor Who, Top Shot, Modern Family, Revenge, and more.

Music would include mostly rock music like: Skillet, Red, Angels and Airwaves, Blink-182, Disturbed, A7X, as well as some classical, mainly Brahms, Liszt. I have recently got into Florence + The Machine.

On a typical Friday night I try to hit a movie or hang out with friends.

I will, on occasion, watch a chick flick when I feel low either at home or sneak out to a theater by myself. For example like 27 Dresses, Life As We Know It, and The Proposal. Don't judge me.

You read my profile and think I might be someone you would like to have a future with. Also if you are looking for a man who will treat you with the respect and love that you deserve, the way all men should. I believe chivalry is not dead and if you think it is then you have yet to meet a man like me.
