Hello everyone! My name is Kira and I'm on here just to see who I meet. If it leads somewhere, awesome. If not, then at least I met some new and interesting people.

About myself: I'm a self-professed geek. I love Star Wars, anything Joss Whedon touches, Tim Burton, old horror movies, Jane Austen, owls, and Alton Brown.
I like to read and cook, although because of my job I rarely have time to do either. On my days off I'm usually playing at the parks with friends. I could just sit on the Haunted Mansion ride for hours and be happy.
I am extremely close with several of my friends. They are basically family and we always watch out for each other.

Right now my life consists mostly of work. I work in the entertainment industry, so my schedule consists of a lot of late night shifts and I'm always working on the weekends. On my days off I'm usually at the theme parks with friends.

Cooking, giving other people advice, and turning anything into an innuendo. I love to laugh and making my friends laugh.

I've never actually had someone tell me what the first thing they notice about me is. Why don't you tell me?

Books: Jane Austen, Jeffrey Deaver (The Bone Collector), Thomas Harris (Hannibal), The Great Gatsby, Frankenstein, Harry Potter

Movies: Nightmare Before Christmas, Beauty and the Beast, Hot Fuzz, Clue, Addam's Family Values, Halloween (the original), Trick r' Treat, The Holiday, Pretty Woman, Serenity, Harry Potter, The Princess Bride, Grindhouse (Death Proof and Planet Terror), Dark Knight

Shows: Grimm, Scrubs, Diners Drive In and Dives, New Girl, Chopped, Firefly, Big Bang Theory, How I Met Your Mother, Criminal Minds, Bones, I want to start watching The Walking Dead and Dr. Who.

Music: My preference leans towards the rock genre, though I listen to a little bit of everything.

Food: I will try almost anything once. Not a huge fan of sushi. I absolutely love 4Rivers BBQ. I eat a lot of chicken and my new favorite snack is dried pineapple. I'm an admitted chocoholic.

1.) My best friend and his family. They have had my back like you wouldn't believe.
2.) My baby sisters. They don't live nearby, but they crack me up on a daily basis.
3.) My cellphone. I hate to say it, but I go absolutely crazy if it's not working.
4.) My Disney annual pass. It's a weekly tradition with my "Orlando family" to go to Disney once a week. It's not so much about the theme park as it is just spending time with close friends.
5.) My iPod. It was a gift from my best friend and it seriously keeps me from going insane at work on almost a daily basis.
6.) My previous car (Alfred) was totaled in accident this year, so he has been replaced. I'm slowly falling in love with my new car.

What I want to do with the rest of my life. There a few careers I'd like to try out and I really want to travel.

My job doesn't really give me the traditional "weekends," so I'm usually working. After work on Friday I usually just go home and watch a movie or read. On my days off I go to Disney with friends or just hang out at home. I don't like clubs or bars all that much.

I'm terrified of bees. I will scream and run away if one flies near me. I know it's the worst thing to do, but I just can't help it. Also, I will eat cookie dough out of the fridge. It's delicious.
I always wear fun socks (polka dots, argyle) but they do not always match. Deal with it.

A lot of my closest friends are gay and they mean the world to me. If you can't accept the ones I love, then you can't accept me.
