I’ll walk miles out of my way just to get a different perspective
of a city. I am low-maintenance and pride myself on having “wash n’
wear” hair, but do enjoy dressing up for special occasions. Born
into a family of avid readers, I have a great appreciation for
literature, history
and art. I do not play sports, but get deeply involved from the
sidelines—especially for soccer or cricket. I love to travel and collect pins from
all over the world. I am very involved in church and my calling. I appreciate the
simple things in life and champion the phrase “It’s the thought
that counts.” Even though my mother and I have a special
relationship, I am very much my father’s daughter (i.e. cars,
electronics and action/scary movies). I love to laugh, be happy
and I enjoy trying to lift others up. I am an admittedly flawed
individual, but then perfection has always sounded so boring.
I am VERY well-rounded and try to stay open-minded. A believer of
moderation in all things and enjoy learning/trying new
things. Physically: I was asked to model in advertisements for
the Tommy Hilfiger "Tommy Girl" campaign when I was in high school
(so I am not ugly). Intellectually: I am a complete geek, so there would be
expectations of intelligent conversation.

My self-summary
What I'm doing with my life
I am currently a High School Biology Teacher which both suites my
desire for frequent vacations as well as to have interesting
conversations with others. While working, I am also in a Master's
Program that keeps me busy. I attend church, I am LDS, and
often socialize with others of my same religious orientation. My
family doesn't live too far away and I visit/contact my
parents/siblings on a regular basis.
I'm really good at
- Ballroom
Dancing, but I like a strong lead.
- Being sarcastic and mocking with my high school students though they find it very entertaining.
- Caring for friends and family. I have a "How may I help you?" personality.
- Cheering on sports events, even if I had no clue what is going on. I still don't understand american football.
- Taking advantage of any opportunity to sleep in late. Since I am a night-owl, waking up at 5am is horrible.
- Not being invited to book clubs because the girls just want to have fun and I usually mean business. My favorite book, The Count Of Monte Cristo, is 1500 pages long.
- Being "one-of-the-guys" while playing video games, watching movies or talking about cars.
- Being an aunt to my niece and nephew.

generally Classics (Dumas. Wilde. Gaskell.
Elliot. Carroll. Stevenson. Bronte. Shakespeare). Some other
favorites are The Great Train Robbery, LOTR, Farenheit 451,
Coraline, The Earth of Mankind and random History Books.
Movies: I love all genres except war and westerns . . . unless they are comedy based. Some random favorites are Better Off Dead, 16 Candles, Charade, Aliens, Lagaan, Shaun of the Dead, Orig Star Wars, V for Vendetta, Ladyhawk, Strictly Ballroom, Tommy Boy, Hello Dolly, Twelfth Night and Blow Dry.
Music: I listen to almost every genre of music so my favorite changes depending on my mood at the time.
Food: I will eat almost anything and love to try different ethnic foods. Seriously, you don't want to know what I've tried.

Actually I am just as inclined to go out as I am to stay home.
Sometimes I need solitary time, other times there is a party at my
house or I am traveling to a party at someone else's house.

1. My faith is important to me so I would prefer to hear from
members who share my religion (LDS). I love individuals that can
