bashful, easily distracted, and kind of a nerd
My self-summary Propose an edit
Everyone says that they don't know what to write here. I know how
to describe myself, I just always come off as boring in these
things. I'm more of a face-to-face type person.
I'm sort of a restless person. Sitting around the house is hardly
my cup of tea. Even grocery shopping gets me excited if my only
alternative is lying about (not that that stops me from having my
occasional lazy days). I've lived in Washington all my life and it
does well for me. I love the sound of rain, probably why I'm such a
fan of the Pacific Northwest. I'm not really a "professional"
anything, just an amateur at a lot of things.
I really enjoy childish things like Go-Carts or Miniature Golf but
lately I've been looking to expand my entertainment-horizons. I'd
like to try rock climbing or maybe take dance lessons or try out an
instrument (even though I already have a very basic knowledge of
the violin).
What I'm doing with my life Propose an edit
I'm planning on going for an English major and try for a job in
publishing. It's a hard mold to break into but I think that's what
I would really love.
I'm really good at Propose an edit
Drinking coffee, debating, horseback riding, watching movies, the

The first thing(s) people usually notice about me Propose an edit
Women tend to comment on my eyes first and guys stare at the mouth
area. I also talk pretty fast, especially when I'm excited about
something.
My favorite books, movies, music, and food Propose an edit
Books-
Anything by Hunter S. Thompson
(especially the Rum
Diary and Hell's Angels)
History of Tom
Jones, a Foundling
The Great
Gatsby
A Tale of
Two Cities
House of
Leaves
Blindness
Hamlet (okay, so
it's a play, but I've only ever read it)
Breakfast of
Champions
I Hope They Serve
Beer in Hell
Les
Miserables
Confederacy of Dunces
One Flew Over the
Cuckoo's Nest
The Road
Choke
The Society of Others
America (the Book)
Master
and Margarita
Harry
Potter
Movies- It's hard to say. One day it'll be Full Metal Jacket, the next it
will be Caddy
Shack, and then who knows? Donnie Darko maybe or Kiss,
Kiss, Bang, Bang or, if I'm feeling saucy, The Godfather - "Leave the
gun. Take the cannoli." The list goes on, really.
Music- Same as movies. It's all about my mood. Mainly I like
indie-pop stuff like the Postal Service, Death Cab for Cutie,
or the Decemberists. Really, though, I
like most kinds of music. I'll listen to oldies, opera, pop, punk, rock, alternative, classical, and -maybe-
the occasional country or rap song. Not a fan of metal music,
though. I've also recently been on a kick for the Kooks. Just throwing that out
there.
Food- I like food. I really do. Sub sandwiches are always great and
besides that I'd have to say that Mexican, Italian, and Chinese
would be my trifecta. BBQ is terrific too. When it's done
right.
Television- I know that it doesn't specify TV but I love Dexter, the Office, Flight of the
Conchords, It's Always
Sunny in Philadelphia, and Arrested Development (taken
before its time).
EDITORS
The six things I could never do without Propose an edit
1) Family/Friends- Lame? Maybe. Cliche? Absolutely. But there it
is.
2) My music collection would be heartbreaking to lose. I've worked
hard on it.
3) My cellphone
4) Internet/Computer (such a spoiled generation...)
5) My books, of course.
6) Hand lotion. I really hate that dry-hand feeling.
I spend a lot of time thinking about Propose an edit
Politics. I wouldn't call myself a bleeding heart but I'm
definitely on the liberal side. However, I'm much less adamant
about being a liberal than I am about not being a
conservative.
How easy it would be to make the world a better place and how
difficult it is to convince others to help in the effort.
The most private thing I'm willing to admit here Propose an edit
