My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Originally from the dry heat of Arizona. Permanently spoiled when it comes to weather from living in Hawaii for a few years. Just moved into St Pete and enjoying it a lot.

I'm someone who will text friends lyrics to the song that is stuck in my head, knowing that I share a memory of those lyrics with them.

On a good day I'm 6'0"

I've been to a handful of places in Europe, to Mexico, Japan and Africa. Favorite place I've 'toured' is Barcelona, Spain.

Trying to get back into long-distance swimming shape.

I am confident in who I am and what I believe. I'm looking for someone who's in the same boat and doesn't need someone else to feel validated in who they are. I would like to meet someone who's a partner, an equal, and a best friend.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Just recently got back to Tampa from another trip to Africa.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Getting along with different types of people. I have a tendency to be the 'glue' that holds different groups of my friends together.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
People have a hard time reading me. Generally people think that I don't like them very much initially. I like keeping them on their toes.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Favorite series is A Song of Ice and Fire by George Martin. Just finished The Dresden Files and working on The Iron Druid Chronicles. In terms of books that changed who I was and how I saw the world; The God Delusion by Dawkins and God Is Not Great by Hitchens. Honorable mention to Born to Run by Christopher McDougall as well.

For movies, my top 5 would look something like - Green Street Hooligans, Gladiator, Pool Hall Junkies, Friday Night Lights, and Thankyou for Smoking. Favorite movies that are more recent would be Premium Rush, End of Watch, The Cabin in the Woods. Goon (best role Sean William Scott has ever done) and Silver Linings Playbook in terms of hitting me right in the feels.

Music is a big deal to me. I have so many favorite groups based on the memory they bring back or the mood their music personifies. Favorites would be: The Gaslight Anthem, The Dangerous Summer, The Narrative, Lydia, The Format, Four Year Strong, The Forecast, New Found Glory, and Explosions in the Sky. Recently saw The Dangerous Summer at the Orpheum.

TV Shows - Dr Who, Being Human (US), Game of Thrones, and Suits are the current standouts. And of course The Daily Show religiously. Also, So You Think You Can Dance is a guilty pleasure.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
A place to call my own
Sleeping in at least one day a week
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Doing normal things.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
That I enjoy playing guitar (poorly) and singing at the top of my lungs (poorly) to the few songs I know how to play.

Oh, and I got fired once when I was a flower delivery driver.
