Bonjour Amigos!

To start off, let's get the basics out of the way...you know, the David Copperfield mess. Anyways, I'm Kayla. I will be 21 years old this Halloween. I am a student who is currently taking a semester off in college (not by choice). However, I am working during the meantime and trying to get by the best I can and build a foundation for my future.

So, now that's out of the way, I'm sure you're curious as to what makes me tick. Well, I'm definitely a quirky person who has a lot to say about a lot of things. I love writing, and I'm rather good at expressing myself. My biggest goal in life is to make a big impact in someone else's life the way my teachers did to me when I was in school. That being said, I am an English education major. Why not combine my passion and my goal all into one ball of string?

I spent time my senior year with specials needs people, and I must say that those people have changed my life and really gave me compassion for others. I hate that people take their things for granted, whether it be their health, wealth, or whatever. Being around people that know nothing other than what makes them happy really teaches you a lot about life and how it should be lead. If you ever get a chance to spend time and volunteer with them, please do.

Well, now what?...Why am I on here, you ask? Well, I am essentially looking for someone who gets me. There's a yin to every yang, and I'm still looking for that someone that matches and suits quite nicely to me. I have a unique sense of humor, and I definitely need someone who can goof off with me and take a joke. As for the sex deal...trust me, it's a good thing, but it's not what makes my world go round. This being said, if you're just looking for sex, don't waste your time with me...find someone else, please. I'm pretty comfortable in my skin these days, and I'd like someone who is the same. I've been with guys who are way too into themselves or their families. Don't get me wrong, I love me, and my family, but there are certain priorities and there has to be a good balance between these things.

Still with me? I'm just living my life and trying to make it as best and enriching that I can, and I'd love to have someone at my side that I can call my best friend and my lover. Life is a lot easier when there's someone to lean on when you're weak.

I'm working full time right now as an operator in West Point, GA. I expect to be back in college this January, so hopefully that will work in my favor. I really want to work with people in the teenage years and maybe older. I've had my eyes opened by some wonderful teachers, and I'd really like to carry on their lessons and add some of my own to send into the next generation.

My favorite books are Catcher in the Rye, Harry Potter series, Angela's Ashes, Angels and Demons, The DaVinci Code, Girl With a Pearl Earring, etc.

My favorite movies are Harry Potter series, Forrest Gump, A Knight's Tale, Van Helsing, Never Been Kissed, Finding Nemo, Little Miss Sunshine, etc.

What's on my Mp3 player?...well...Michael Buble, Josh Groban, Katy Perry, Red Hot Chili Peppers, All American Rejects, Oh3oh, Jonas Brothers, Kings of Leon, Lady Gaga, Motley Crue, Sarah Bareilles, Hayley Westerna, etc.

My favorite food varies and depends on my mood really. However, I do love Mexican, Italian, Chinese, chicken and dumplings (that momma makes), shrimp, scallops, crab, pizza on occasion...and...would you count sweet tea in this list??

You know, it's really hard to narrow it down to six things...I could be materialistic and say my car, laptop, t.v., computer games, my cell phone, and my books. Or, I could take the more sentimental and spiritual road and say my family, God, my puppy, my friends, my parents, and those people that act as my second parents. However, you have both lists, so you pick which you'd like to accept.

I spend a lot f time thinking about my future and what mountains I have to climb to reach that ideal future.

On a typical Friday night, I am normally at my younger brother's football game cheering for him and his team.

The most private thing that I'm willing to admit here is that I am a would really really really love to get my pilot's license!
