My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Hi, I'm Josh! I'm a composer working on my Master's Degree, with an eventual goal of making my living teaching while I write my music. I'm an absolute geek who prefers staying in and playing video games to going out to a bar. If that's you too, then you should maybe send me a message!
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Writing a lot of music, playing in a band and other various projects when needed, and pretty soon I'll be teaching private guitar lessons. Oh, and I'm getting a graduate degree too. That's a thing.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Guitar, piano, percussion, singing... just lots of ways of making musical noise, really. I'm also ridiculously good at Tetris and Guitar Hero/Rock Band.
The first things people usually notice about me

Probably whatever band shirt I'm wearing that day? Or that I'm usually wearing all black? Look, most band t-shirts are black because black shirts are cheap, and black jeans go with basically everything. Therefore, my closet is mostly black clothes. I fail to see a problem with that.

Music:
Pretty much anything. I tend to lean toward various genres of metal, example bands being (in no particular order) Avenged Sevenfold, Trivium, Dream Theater, Kamelot, Nightwish, HIM, Blind Guardian, Halestorm, Stone Sour, etc. However, if you were to look through my library, you'd also find pop, punk, jazz, classical, and several other genres sprinkled throughout. It's a safe bet that I'll be listening to metal most of the time, but don't be surprised if you catch me randomly singing along to a Sinatra tune.

- The Metal Gear Solid Series
- Super Smash Bros.
- Hearthstone

Food:
I am omnivore. Hear me roar.

...Actually, to be honest, I'm kinda picky. I'm getting better about that, though. If I had to pick a favourite dish, it'd be country-style boneless ribs over rice. Family recipe, and it is damn good.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
1) My family
2) My guitars
3) My computer
4) My hearing
5) My closest friends
6) The ability to spend time away from the city
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
My future, and how I'm going to handle the career path I've chosen. It's a scary business, music. Still, there are a lot of ways to make a living out of it that don't involve becoming a rock star, so, you know... assuming that somehow doesn't pan out for me, I'll still be alright. Haha.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Relaxing, maybe trying to find some people to play some tabletop games with. I might go out if it's something low-key. I'm not a fan of going out and partying, though. That's just not me.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit

...that I don't have anything private I'm willing to share with strangers?

Offer a few tips to help matches win you over.
At this point in my life, I'm not particularly interested in actively seeking a serious relationship. If I meet someone amazing, I'm open to it. But right now, I'm more interested in casual dating. I'm not particularly keen on one-night stands, but I would be interested in a friends-with-benefits kind of thing. What can I say? I'm 23 and I have too much drama in my life as it is. I'd rather be in a casual relationship.

Also, this might contradict some of my question answers. A lot has changed since I answered those things, so this is the most up-to-date information.
