My self-summary
I'm a musician and a geek, and I'm proud to be both. I've spent six years of my life in college, and I'm finally done. I'm suddenly finding myself having free time. For a long time, dating has been difficult purely because of lack of time. I figure it's about time to change that.
What I’m doing with my life
Teaching private music lessons and enjoying how much I don't have to work a 9-5 job.
I’m really good at
I'm a composer, and I'm classically trained in both guitar and piano. I also play a smattering of other random instruments.

Oh yeah, and I'm pretty good at most video games.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
I don't want to make some massive list here. Besides, this is the kind of stuff that makes for good conversation starters. So why not just ask me?
The six things I could never do without
1) My computer
2) My guitar
3) My family and best friends
4) A chance to unwind alone once in a while
5) Something to hit with a drum stick
6) My adorable little kitten, Tango
I spend a lot of time thinking about
The next project I'm working on, and whether or not choosing not to date all that much in college was a major mistake. I go back and forth on that one.
On a typical Friday night I am
Going to sleep, because I work Saturdays. But on Saturday nights, I'm usually having a glass or two of merlot and possibly hanging out with friends.
You should message me if
...we match. Duh.

I'm open to something casual, but I would prefer a proper date. I'm looking for someone I connect with, really.

Also, I am terrible at starting a conversation. So many people just ignore a vanilla hello, and I totally get that, but I don't know what the hell else to say half the time. Pick up lines are stupid, most profiles don't leave a whole lot of questions to be asked, and if I try to open with a compliment I get accused of just trying to get laid. So... You know... If we end up as mutual likes, maybe consider saying hi. I for one am completely okay with, "hello, how are you."
