My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I just tried to start an account at Trekkiedating . com. I filled out my profile and then the site said "Okay now it's time to pay us money." I don't want to pay money to be on a dating site. I'm not even a trekkie!

I used to have a lot of "beliefs", but now I just have opinions. Here are some examples:

Birth control: I'm a big fan. Human overpopulation is the root of all the problems in the world. I'm not opposed to mandatory sterilization. I think abortions should be required for anyone who gets pregnant. If you want to raise a child, that's fine with me; there are plenty of children who need someone to raise them. But if you think that it's your right or duty to personally bring another human being onto this already over-crowded planet, then you're just an arrogant, selfish asshole. Just because that's the way it has always been done, doesn't mean it's still okay. The world is a different place than it was a few generations ago. Maybe you haven't noticed, but there's way too many humans around now. I hope to witness the extinction of the human race within my lifetime.

I was vegetarian/ vegan for about ten years because i felt bad for the animals. Then I moved to Montana in the winter and the only local food I could eat was the elk that my friend had hunted with a bow. So I ate it raw. Where food comes from is just as important as what it is. Factory farmed broccoli is just as bad as factory farmed swine. Unless you hunt and gather all your own food in a sustainable fashion, I don't respect your dietary choices. That goes for me too, and I don't. Just don't get all holier than thou on me about my food and I'll keep quiet about yours. Maybe we can even cook a meal together.

I'm not a nazi about punctuation or capitalization, but I lose respect for people who can't spell or don't know the difference between "of" and "have", "there" and "their", or "then" and "than".
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
In the summer months I travel for my job. I am usually on the road from about May - October. I spent over 120 nights last year in hotel rooms. And yes, I tip the maids.

In my time off from work I am pursuing a degree in mathematics through an online program. I ♥ math.

I like to run when I can find the time. I ran my first marathon in November of 2013. It was fun. I've done a couple others since then.

I like to play Scrabble. These days I play mostly on my phone/ online because all my Scrabble playing friends live hundreds of miles away. I'd like to play in real time, on a real board (I own five Scrabble boards.) I despise "words with friends". Don't even mention it to me.
