Hey there, my name is Jonathan and I graduated from the University of Florida in May of 2008. I traveled to VA about a year ago for a career start, but with the shape the economy is in, I had to be let go. However, having come up here from Florida, I just got back home after subleasing my apartment. As far as my future goes, what I want to do in life is still up in the air. I don't lose sleep over it as I know I will eventually figure something out. Overall, though, life is great! I gave my life to Jesus a few years ago, and I now cherish every chance I get to bask in His greatness. I love Christ with all my heart and it shows most when people ask me about my spiritual experiences. However, as it is always difficult to be a good example, I still try hard every day to wake up with the mindset of becoming a better person. I don't have nearly as much spare time as I used to (like I did in college) due to work, but I am known for making time for people important to me. I'm usually just hanging around the apartment making spontaneous plans, playing online games, or on here reading threads and forums. I am definitely a big fan of meeting new people and listening to their stories. So don't be shy, say hi! :)

Update: I'm currently in the process of filling out my Navy application in hopes to get selected for either Jan or Feb :)

Well, having only 6 months of professional experience after being laid off, I just moved back to G-ville to gather myself and prepare for my next step, whatever that may be. It's in God's hands :)

Update: I'm pretty much just continuing to stay in shape for the Navy and concentrating on putting a good folder together. Other than that, still trying to get through day by day!

Anything I put my mind to, really. If something takes practice, I'll practice until I make perfect. I'm a jack of all trades when it comes to sports, but on the above average side of it. I have a very positive mindset, so I feel that I can become good at anything if I wanted to. Oh yea, I'm also uncontrollably good at being a dork - So I'm told lol. I guess you could also say I'm good at putting my feelings on paper and being a good listener.

I'm always smiling. Whether or not I'm having a good or bad day, I always find something out of the day that brings at least a grin to my face. I'm usually a "happy-go-lucky" dude with a pinch of easy-goingness. I pretty much fit the beach bum stereotype lol. That and my wide variety of (mood-dependent) laughs. Looks wise, I get a lot of compliments on my eyes and butt. Heck yeah; you heard right! ;)

If I told you that my favorite genre of movie was Horror, would you believe me? That either makes me a typical guy or a weird Christian lol. No matter, I love Horror movies! Might I add, that it's really tough to find a girl who does too.

The Bible is my life. I've read "The Diary of Anne Frank," a couple years ago and loved it.

As far as music goes - I love Christian Hip Hop! Ambassador, Flame, Lecrae! Look them up.

I also like romantic/blues/soul/gospel/hip-hop/reggae/reggaeton/etc. And yes! Michael Jackson is one of my all time favorite artists. Love "Billie Jean" and "Dirty Diana."

And I heart food. The way to my heart is a good steak and garlic mashed potatoes. Subway and I get along great lol.

Jesus, happiness, my other half (she's out there somewhere), my computer, water/food, and oxygen.

Where I will be in "x" amount of time, my current situation in general, future situations, my time in college, back home, my parents, God, who God has planned for me. Basically, nothing your or my next-door neighbor doesn't think about from time to time.

Doing the above lol. As I'm not so much into the bar and club scene anymore, I enjoy just hanging out at a buddy's or at the apartment. Usually I'm watching a movie, though. Ideally, I'm either with or talking to someone who I really want to grow with :)

I've yet to meet somebody who really takes my breath away. I guess you could say that I've never been at the right place at the right time, but I'm really waiting for that one girl to stand out from the crowd - the one whom I know from the moment I look at her that she and I wouldn't be able to get enough of each other. Some call it impossible, but I believe that anything is possible. I've never been in love before, and that is what I'm patiently searching for.

Also, some of my friends think of me as some heart breaker, but in reality, it's me who often gets the broken heart. I guess I'm more sensitive and vulnerable than I always think I am. Oh well, at least I can admit it, right?

If you're not just another pretty face and feel that our personalities would complement each other. I'm tired of meeting the same old same old. I want to take things slow, and I want someone who actually smiles at the thought of that rather than call me out. Also, I would require that you be a Christian. Although Jesus is a very big part of my life, I'm not the holy roller many think I am (please don't judge) - I don't force my beliefs on anybody, but if someone asks, I will be more than happy share with them. I want someone to message me who is actually looking for something serious, and not just a rebound off a stupid ex boyfriend, or a girl who really doesn't know what she wants. I've been there, done that, been through it, ready for something real. :) I'm not in college anymore.

However, aside from all that, you should just message me if you want someone to talk to, open up to, a shoulder to cry on, or someone to keep your secrets. I love building great relationships with people. Just keep it real :)
