Some things about me:
I spent the last year focusing on trying new things including sky diving, trapeze lessons, knitting lessons. sailing lessons, and traveling to parts of the U.S. and the world I have never seen (my favorites: Turkey and Charleston, SC).
I have 11 siblings and 23 nieces and nephews and I absolutely love the chaos.
I've had some pretty interesting jobs since moving to DC seven years ago including writing disability policy for the White House and writing international drug policy for the DEA. I currently work for a federal law enforcement agency and I absolutely love my job.
Cooking is one of my passions and I love trying new and exotic ingredients and recipes. My most recent departure from the ordinary was fresh salmon heads (I even ate the eyeball!).
I am a book snob. I don't mind wasting my time on a silly movie or listening to bubble gum pop music if I like the song, but when it comes to reading books, I figure I could spend an entire lifetime doing nothing but reading great books and never get through all of the ones worth reading so why waste my time on books that aren't worth the investment?
I think Aaron Sorkin is a brilliant writer and I love almost everything he has written even though I agree with almost none of it. The West Wing is the only TV show I own on DVD and I never get tired of it.
If any of the above sounds interesting, please reach out--I would love to talk to you.
