Ich bin im Grunde eher der ruhige Typ. Man kann sich mit mir ganz
gut unterhalten und in Höchstform bin ich auch ganz geistreich.
Eigenartigerweise (mein Fluch!) verstehe ich mich meistens am
besten mit Leuten, die nicht meine Interessen teilen, aber ich
hoffe immer noch, das sind lauter Ausnahmen. Was noch? Meine
Teilnahme am Nachtleben ist eher träge. ich gehe gerne weg, solange
man sich gut unterhalten kann; gegen Discos und Parties über einer
gewissen Lautstärke wehre ich mich aber mit Waffengewalt.

My self-summary
Basically, if anything, I'm the settled type. I'm nice to talk with
and can under most circumstances be quite witty. Strangely (my
curse!) most often I harmonize best with people with whom I don't
share my interests. (I still hope, they're all the exception of the
rule...) What else? I'm not an overly avid partaker in the night
life. I like to go where you can chat decently. Under no
circumstances will I go to discos or extremely loud parties. Don't
ask me how far I would go to prevent this.
What I'm doing with my life
I took some time to find out what I want to do in life, but now I'm
working as a programmer and liking it. Yet I'm not the kind of guy
who derives his identity from his job. When I'm by myself I like to
indulge in hobbies like PC gaming, reading, movies. I'm pretty much open for all
kinds of different activities, but you shouldn't try to stop me if
there's a board
game session among friends.

Ich habe einige Zeit gebraucht, bis ich endlich rausgefunden habe,
womit ich mein Geld verdienen will, aber jetzt arbeite ich als
Programmierer und hab Spaß dabei. Ich bin allerdings kein Mensch,
der seine Identität aus der Arbeit bezieht. Wenn ich allein bin,
beschäftige ich mich meistens mit Computerspielen, Lesen, Internet, Filmen. Was Aktivitäten betrifft, bin
ich ziemlich offen, aber wenn's eine Brettspielrunde unter Freunden gibt,
sollte man nicht versuchen, mich aufzuhalten.

Movies: wildly varied. Science Fiction, comedy, action, others. For example, I loved Alien, and also loved Fried Green Tomatoes.
Music: Electronic and heavy stuff. Absolute favorite is Crystal Method.
Food: Most vegetables make me miserable. Italian food I like most.
