I am dead, gone, and buried.

My Self-Summary

I do stuff. I exist. I'm on here because I'm bored.

I mostly ride horses and bikes, and then try to earn enough money to pay bills and go to grad school.

My back usually hurts a lot and I'm prone to falling into things.

If you wear your collar flipped up and a baseball cap, please die in a quiet corner away from me. I do not much care for Ron Paul or the Free State Movement, and I find most Libertarians to just be childish and confused. Stop calling yourselves anarchists, we don't much like you using that title, stop protesting couches and start picking up the garbage in your neighborhood.

I hate vaginas, except my own.
I hate cars, even my own.

I am a student of anthropology, I have a BA in political anthropology, want to go to school for linguistic anthropology or environmental anthropology, but will probably end up with a masters in straight up cultural because most schools don't offer my specializations.
I don't dig up old things or play with sharp rocks*, I'm not that kind of anthropologist**.

I also like to garden and do crossword puzzles and then get into lengthy political debates.

I hike, swim, bike, and have even been known to larp.

I am as frustrated as I am fascinated with humanity. I live my life but for the sake of others, and yes I am very much a dirt loving tree worshiper.

Cats. I also think cats are awesome and I play with them when I'm not playing with horses.

*yes I do I lied.
**but I'm still not that kind of anthropologist.

What I’m doing with my life

Trying to go back to school, to find a deeper meaning in the reflections in mud puddles, and to find humanity. Oh wait, oh yeah, I'm trying to do that whole Peace Corps thing.

I’m really good at

Falling down.

The first things people usually notice about me

I'm skinny. Yes that's right, I'm skinny, we all know now shut up.

My favorite books, movies, music, and food

Pointless list as examples of a few things I have been known to like only because I'm bored:
Books: ethnographies, dictionaries, classic literature (I mean Aristotle level classic, read Christopher Columbs' journal logs), anything to do with etymoloy or history.
Movies: Anything with dinosaurs or Godzilla. Documentaries... I got bored and can't finish this list.
Music: I'll just tell you what I don't like: I don't like what you like.
Food: I like anything I can digest; which sadly is not a lot.

The six things I could never do without

Books, food, water, forensics, dinosaurs, horses.

I spend a lot of time thinking about

Dinosaurs, vegetables, ethics in modern anthropological practice, horses, the way air changes pressure right before a thunderstorm, and how frames are used by different groups to organize, justify meaning, and identify with a group. Also the naming of things (that's philology home-slice).

On a typical Friday night I am

Working.

The most private thing I’m willing to admit here

One time, I peed my pants.

In my defense I was like 2.
