My self-summary
Self-summaries are for job interviews.

BFA from Carnegie Mellon. Certificate in Digital Art for Game Design from Guildhall at SMU. So you know i'm totes legit.
What I’m doing with my life
I work for Activison during the day, and at night I sometimes draw things with a pencil or a computer. I enjoy good company, good food, and good drink from time to time. I'm thinking of getting a cat.
I’m really good at
Conversation, drawing, fixing computers, reading people, cooking, thinking critically, video games, crossword puzzles, scrabble (even though i hate it, which annoys people when I win anyway), enjoying the pleasures of life.
The first things people usually notice about me
My tallness, my awesomeness, my hypnotizing charisma? Idk, ask them? Or better yet, ask yourself.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Genres: SciFi, Surrealistic Fiction, Mystery, Fantasy

Authors: Paul Auster, Philip K. Dick, David Sedaris, Douglas Adams, Lovecraft, Haruki Murakami, William Gibson, Umberto Eco, Antoine de Saint-Exupery, Edgar Allen Poe, Arthur Conan Doyle, Larry Niven, Milan Kundera, lots and lots more. Most recently, Ready Player One by I Forget.

Movies: Cool Hand Luke, Serpico, Ghost Dog, almost anything from the 80s, Film Noir, Jaws, Casablanca, the Burbs, Robocop, anything by David Lynch, anything with Bill Murray or pre-1990s Chevy Chase, the Holy Trilogies (Star Wars, Indiana Jones, Aliens, LOTR), anything by Hitchcock (Rope is epic). Do not understand what the big deal is with Scarface.

TV: is dead, but Hulu and torrents are good. Twin Peaks, Curb, Fringe, Sherlock, Community, Sunny, Louie, Battlestar, Kenny Vs. Spenny, The Office (British), Game of Thrones, Dexter (before it became lame), Dr. Who, The Wire, Eastbound and Down

Art: Egon Schiele, Stellarc (even though he's a tool), most of the Zen school of painters, Laurie Anderson, Chris Burden(genius), Simon Penny, Vito Acconci (his installations/architecture, not his lame performance art)

Music: Camille Saint-saens, Velvet Underground, Tricky, Tom Waits, Public Enemy, Ice Cube, Arcade Fire, Tron Soundtrack, Mussorgsky, Sonic Youth, Flaming Lips, David Byrne, David Bowie, Poi Dog Pondering, Deerhunter, Magnetic Fields, Lee Perry, Beatles(duh), Edwyn Collins' first and only good album, tons more ofc

Games: I'm a sucker for Final Fantasy Anything. I like RPGs. Dark Souls may be the best game of all time. I like the idea of MMORPGs but i never stick with them. When I stopped smoking pot I stopped caring much about gaming though. Its pretty rare that I play anything these days.

Food: Greek, Indian, Mexican, Chinese, cake
The six things I could never do without
1. Hydrogen atoms
2. Ego-stroking
3. Intelligent people around me.
4. Stupid internet. Actually, "no internet" is not a big deal. But "bad internet connection" makes me want to throw computer out of window.
5. Sexy human contact. Ok fine, crazy awesome furniture-breaking sex.
6. An appreciation of the absurd.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Way too many things to list. And get out of my head.
On a typical Friday night I am
Either staying in drawing/movieing or going out to be social and making bad decisions at a bar.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I am inordinately proud of my legit 100% score on the Hitchiker's Guide to the Galaxy Test, which bestowed upon me the esteemed rank of "Douglas Adams".
I actually met him once and found myself unable to speak. I thought that shit only happened on tv. It is, however, the exact kind of thing that would happen to someone like Arthur Dent, so i'm cool with it.
I’m looking for
  • Girls who like guys
  • Ages 21–45
  • Near me
  • Who are single
  • For new friends, long-term dating, short-term dating, activity partners
You should message me if
you are intelligent, comfortable with yourself, open-minded, geeky/nerdy yet know how to shower, and not into weird mind games (all other kinds of games are encouraged however)

Also if you have a picture of yourself with a fake moustache (or a bona fide one for that matter), it may take some convincing on your part. Just saying.
