I was born on the east coast to parents from different parts of the midwest. After a few years in Pennsylvania, and a couple more in Texas, we made our way to the East Bay, where I grew up. The central coast is where I spent my college years, and, while I'll always have a place in my heart for the SLO life, San Francisco ultimately called me home. Now, I live in the Marina and try to defy (or maybe just avoid) its many stereotypes.

I'm kind and silly, but sometimes spicy. I'm honest and active. And, I always look forward to meeting fun people to share adventures, laughter & bottomless-mimosa-brunches with.

Balancing work (Marketing strategy for a start-up. Not to be confused with creating slogans - which is what most of my extended relatives think I do.) with Life (Spending time with my dear friends, working out, eating & drinking around SF, going to Giants games, pretending I'm a yogi, traveling, and taking time to just slow down).

Hugs (who doesn't love a good hug?). Cheering for the Giants. Being genuine & making people feel comfortable. And, playing Catch Phrase. I kick ass at Catch Phrase.

My dimples? I once was asked if I had holes in my cheeks...granted this came from a 9 year old.

I like craft cocktails and tasting menus, but will never be too good for chicken strips and Coor's light.

I'm horrible at TV. I only have cable for sports (seriously). And, when my teams (giants, niners, warriors, jayhawks), aren't playing, I'll watch Friends & Seinfeld reruns.

The balance of this question includes, but is not limited to: Bukowski, Marc Broussard, Anchorman, Billy Joel, A Few Good Men, Bob Dylan, Atlas Shrugged (no, it's not gospel to me), Bridesmaids, Warren Zevon, Love Actually, Brandi Carlisle, John Fante, Shawshank Redemption, Beyonce, etc. Did I just end with Beyonce? Yes, yes I did.

Besides the obvious stuff? A strong cappuccino. Cheese enchiladas from La Mecca or Little Manuels. Access to a swimming pool. A well-made Negroni. My favorite scarf. And my ability to give people awesome, yet completely arbitrary, nicknames.

How goddamn lucky we are to live here. Life is good.

Dinner somewhere tasty (which could be at home). Maybe drinks with friends. Often, I'm happy just relaxing on the couch.

I may or may not snort when I laugh.
