I'm the outdoorsy computer nerd type. Infinite curiosity, corny humor, and nerding out are a couple quick descriptors.

Activities include all your typical NW stuff like hiking, camping, rock climbing, cycling, and trampoline dodgeball. What? Well it should be typical since its fracking awesome!

Typical nerdish activities include wacky Arduino projects(RC car controlled with play dough, Check), beer n coding sessions, game jams, LAN parties, movie marathons, and board game nights.

Also, I'm an INTP for those that care about Myers Briggs. Though I do moonlight as an ENTP.

Just finished up the first year of my second degree at digipen! Yep, I'm making video games while making the robots go beep boop.

I'm also teaching 5-8th graders about basic Artificial Intelligence and robotics this summer... Which essentially means I'm getting payed to play with Legos and kids all day. Pretty sweet gig if I do say so my self!

Hitting things with a wrench until they start working, Laughing at my own stupid mistakes, Diffusing tense situations, Predicting the outcome of a movie in the first 15-30 minutes, working with computers in general, Being there for my friends and family when it really matters.

After all the "holy crap you look young" nonsense is out of the way, people normally pick up on my happy go lucky personality and the dryish sarcasm.

Books: The Otherland Series, Ra Savaltores Drizzit (20 some odd) book Series, The Long Walk to Freedom, Angels & Demons, Enders Game/Enderverse.

Movies: A Beautiful Mind, Wall-E, Event Horizon, Invictus, Dr Parnassus Imaginarium, Brazil, Pans Labyrinth, Howls moving castle. Really Anything that can keep me guessing and/or has a unique plot is a-ok in my book.

Shows: Breaking Bad, Walking Dead, Fire Fly, Steins Gate, TriGun, Myth Busters.

Food: Wow, it's hard to narrow this one down... so many delicious dishes out there. I'd have to say sushi is at the top of the list, pizza is a staple, alligator gumbo is tasty... But a good Phat Kai Mao or Pad Thai is the fastest way to my heart.

Music: I'm mostly centered around alternative/rock. What it would be like to have a neural <-> computer interface. Every time i google/wiki something i wonder what it would be like to just think "Hey i wish i knew how to (insert random thought here)" then a split second later know how to prepare Fugu. And no... you wouldn't get the many delicious ways of preparing fugu every time you use the system. That'd be kind of a shitty glitch if you needed to take over the controls of a 747 and the only thing you could pull up were videos of chefs cutting up puffer fish.

School assignments, projects, and my dev team have been sucking up the majority of my thought cycles lately.

Anything from watching a movie with the housemates, to prepping for a weekend adventure, to gaming with some friends, to pub crawling (not to be confused with clubbing).

I'd suggest trying this question again while handing me a glass of Pappy Van Winkle's 20 year private reserve.
