I am one of those people you can take nearly anywhere and I will have a great time given some good company. The list of things I won't do is quite short and so far includes country line dancing... yeah, not a fan of that. I can't see myself enjoying ice fishing either.

I love museums (the more bizarre the installation the better); dancing (especially goth/ industrial clubs); poetry readings; coffee shop philosophy, meandering in the desert, on a mountaintop, or beaches; cons (especially comic-con or santacon); basically socializing anywhere there's a vibrant atmosphere, hole in the wall vibe, or stimulating conversation. I have a passion for learning and view the world as a playground.

I'm non-monogamous but very ethical in the relationships I create. I strive for a strong level of trust, passion and compassion.

I love my career and am building up my private practice as a massage therapist while also working part-time at a chiropractic office. I've been a therapist for about 12 years now. Someday I hope to own my own practice and not just rent a room. I'd also like to go back to school for a double degree in holistic nutrition and naturopathy. My long term goal is to someday open a sort of holistic healing practice and team up with a range of practitioners to offer clients a variety of preventive health care options. I'm a single mama to a very lovely young lady.

Literature: My literary taste ranges all over the scale. I will just as readily read fiction as I will non-fiction, any subject that catches my interest. I am an avid reader who devours books.
Some of my favorite fiction includes: The Sensualist by Barbara Hodgson, Jitterbug Perfume by Tom Robbins, the entire discworld series by Terry Pratchett (how does he maintain that level of humor?), Geek Love by Katherine Dunn, and Jonathon Strange And Mr. Norrell by Susanna Clarke...

Film: My taste in film can't be categorized easily either. I am very eclectic in my choices of cinema. The movies that touch me the most are those that induce an emotional response, positive or negative.

Dining: Spice and variety is the key here. I love such complex combinations that confuse my senses.
