My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I am terrible at these, but here goes! I'm a quiet guy most of the time, but can be a bit witty at times. I am pretty shy around new people, so it takes a bit of getting to know somebody for me to open up to them. But once I do people tend to find me funny and cheerful. And laid back. Maybe a little TOO laid back.

I am pretty much a giant nerd and not the least bit ashamed of the fact. My favourite thing to do is write. It doesn't matter WHAT I'm writing, as long as I'm writing something. My other hobbies include playing video games, reading, watching movies; you know, typical nerd stuff. (I'm also a shameless fan of the new My Little Pony series. Rarity is the pony) But occasionally I also enjoy walking, hiking, and cycling. I try not to limit myself to those few hobbies however, I'm always willing to try something new as long as I have someone to try it with.

I hope to be able to travel the world (and beyond, if technology will let us do that in our lifetime) and see as many new places and experience as many new things as I can.

I don't smoke or do drugs. I drink ocassionally, but I do not enjoy getting drunk at all. I've been a vegetarian for probably around six or seven years, but I still eat eggs and dairy (people always me ask if I eat eggs or dairy for some reason when they find out I'm a vegetarian)

Satire and parody are my favourite types of humour, and I always enjoy a good troll as long as it's not hurtful towards anyone. I laugh at myself as often as I laugh at anything else, and I try not to take life too seriously, and try not to surround myself with too many people who do. Life is meant to be enjoyed, not stressed over.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Working a decent enough retail job while trying to figure out what to do next. I know I want to go to school, but I have no idea what I want to DO there...
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Um... I'm really good at not knowing how to write about what I'm really good at...? Okay, seriously though, I'm really good at coming up with ideas for stories, but not so good at actually finishing writing them. Also, I've been told I have (debatably) the best zombie survival plan out of all my friends.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I wear a suit pretty much regardless of the occasion. Even when hiking or biking. [UPDATE: Not this summer, it's way too hot for that!] It's not always neatly pressed and everything like the tuxedo is in my profile pic, but my ordinary everyday attire can easily be considered at least "semi-formal"
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Books: Neverwhere (and anything at all by Neil Gaiman, but Neverwhere in particular stands out), Dresden Files, Game of Thrones, Hitchiker's Guide to the Galaxy, Terry Pratchett, The Walking Dead, and plenty of other sci-fi and fantasy

Movies: Too many to list. I'll try to narrow it down to five: Star Wars (Original Trilogy) Scott Pilgrim, Up, Fight Club, The Dark Knight. Those were really just the first five that popped into my head.

Shows: My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic, The Walking Dead, Breaking Bad, Game of Thrones, Community, Seinfeld, Simpsons back when it was good, and probably a bunch of others I'm forgetting. I used to be quite into Anime but I've kinda stopped watching it over the past year or so.

Music: Just about anything. Seriously. Depending primarily on my mood, really.

Food: Just about anything that's vegetarian. seriously.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Ponies, my computer, music, my phone, my alarm clock, and caffeine
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Random, pointless crap and/or fun writing projects (often times the two are one in the same), or other planets and outer space in general. Recently I've been figuring out my Zombie Apocalypse Survival Plan
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Either working, or derping around on the internets, and/or writing, and/or playing some sort of video game. Sometimes (often) all three at once!
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I read Twilight. Of my own free will. The entire first book. And I didn't enjoy it at all. But I will eventually read the rest of them, also of my own free will. My reasoning? That which does not kill you, only makes you stronger. It's like a morbid curiosity kind of thing.

I'm a very shy person around new people, so I don't often message people first even if i think they're cool (I'm trying to get over that) but I do try to answer everyone who messages me
