My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Ok so born and raised in Astoria (I was here before the hipster invasion) I love spending time with my family and friends. I am just as happy staying in for the night as well as heading out to a bar or a restaurant. (I'm aware that 99% of people have written this on their profile, but it's an online dating site what else is there to write? ) I'm looking for someone who is down to earth, someone who has a good sense of humor, if you can make me laugh then we're good. I can be sarcastic at times, but hey who isn't. Anything else you want to know just ask.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I manage a medical office in Midtown
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
I love to cook, and I've been told that I'm pretty good at it, but I hate doing dishes so that will be your job.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
probably my eyes, with a follow up question of "are you wearing colored contacts?" btw, I'm not

I should probably mention that I do have tattoos, 5 to be exact but not to worry they are all very tasteful and not huge, just wanted to put that out there for those of you crazies :-) that are completely opposed to any tattoos on a girl.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

Yes, I'm a girl I read cosmo and glamour.I just recently finished reading "The Goldfinch" by Donna Tart, it was absolutely amazing. I gave in to peer pressure read the Fifty Shades of Grey trilogy. Before that, it was "The Pact" by Jodi Piccoult and re-read "Shes come Undone by Wally Lamb. My favorite author would probably be Danielle Steel or Wally Lamb, I am also a big fan of Shakespeare.

As for movies, I will pretty much watch anything except for things with a lot of blood, guts and action in it. I have a whole list that would take me forever to go through, top highlights would probably be :Dirty Dancing (again I'm a girl I'm allowed to like it) Fight Club (I know I said I don't like blood and action but for some reason I love this movie) Big fan of John Hughes 80's movies, The Goonies, Silly humor like Napoleon Dynomite, Anchor Man, Best in Show, Waiting for Guffman, Spaceballs, Young Frankenstein, Blazing Saddles. Not a fan of horror movies though, I will only watch the "Scream" or "Saw" serious, probably because they are just ridiculous as opposed to scary, although the Shining is one of my favorite movies (go figure right) .

TV, I think I need rehab because I have become a reality TV junkie!!!! I love Dancing with the stars and some trashy Jersey housewives for a good laugh. I also love, GLEE, Seinfeld, Boardwalk Empire, Family Guy, How I met your mother, Sons of Anarchy, The big bang theory, Modern Family and Nurse Jackie just to name a few. (I notice every guy lists Always Sunny In Philadelphia as a favorite,,,,but I just don't understand it. Why are they always yelling?)

Music, I will listen to just about anything with the exception of hard core rap and most country.

Food, I love Italian food, Thai and Mexican are up there, but I could probably eat pizza every day

I actually do like sports, I LOVE football and bonus points if you are a Giants fan. If you're a Cowboys fan we are going to have a problem. Just kidding (maybe) I am a diehard Mets fan even though I know they suck, and even though I don't watch hockey as much anymore, I will always be a Rangers fan
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
My Family
My Friends
my job
hmmmmmm, guess I only need three things!!
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Winning the lotto so I can buy a space for my own theater group.

Why do guys send an email and then delete their profile 10 minutes later?

Also why most guys have pictures of themselves taken through a mirror.....why can't you master the selfie...or why don't you just have someone take the picture for you?
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Possibly out to dinner or a movie with friends, maybe some drinks or heading home to relax and have a marathon of whatever I'm currently watching on Netflix. There is no typical night.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I'm kind of a bad ass! Sometimes when I wash my hair, I lather, rinse but don't repeat. I just go straight to the conditioner.
You should message me if
Offer a few tips to help matches win you over.
Well, if you liked my profile obviously, and If you have a good balance of humor and sarcasm, but know when to be serious. If you have something other than just "Hi" to say in your message. If you're looking for a fun, down to earth girl who doesn't play games then we should click. And come on, don't just "like" my profile, I won't always see it....I mean this isn't a 6th grade dance, you're allowed to talk to girls so send me a message.

You shouldn't message me, if
A. you're a weirdo, or
B. you're going to start off the message with a greeting such as "hey ma" or "boo" because I'm not your mother and I hope you're not a ghost because that would be pretty creepy if you are :-)
