I am convivial, adventurous, and earthy.
My Self-Summary
"There is a vitality, a life force, an energy, a quickening, that
is translated through you into action," she celebrated, "and
because there is only one of you in all time, this expression is
unique. And if you block it, it will never exist through any other
medium and will be lost." ~ Martha Graham
I LOVE
Dancing and
vow to do more of it. My favorite accessories are earrings, scarves
and silly socks. I also love
yoga, enjoy eating apples, candlelight,
feeling small against the power of
nature, kischnuddling for hours,
singing show tunes
at the tops of my lungs in the car, losing myself in the crowd on
dizzy dancing club nights,
live music,
hiking, hostessing parties,
strolling on a chilly
summer night with a hot beverage in my hand,
people watching, the sound of
rain, catching up with friends over cards,
wandering,
dancing, baking, collecting jewelry that
represents and/or is made out of things of nature-especially trees,
really good coffee/espresso and chocolate. Once I had THE MOST
AMAZING cup of hot chocolate in Ghirardelli Square in San
Francisco. It literally stopped me in my tracks. Now that's
powerful chocolate.
What I’m doing with my life
Listening. Shhh... ;)
I’m really good at
Noticing the needs of others...especially children....spelling,
head massages, driving stick shift and once I get warmed up,
dancing my a** off :)
The first things people usually notice about me
My thick hair.
My favorite books, movies, music, and food
Anything that moves me, makes me laugh, restores my faith in the
human spirit, or just gets my butt moving!!! I feel this will be a
section that is constantly under revision, but for starters:

bossa nova.
Does NPR count here?

The six things I could never do without
(other than the obvious family and friends and basic needs for
survival)
good strong hugs
belly laughs
Billie my kitty
music/dancing
spending time in nature
coffee :)
I spend a lot of time thinking about
The meaning of life, and my (hopefully purposeful) place in it.
What the next step is in my working life/evolution. What I can
barter healing sessions for. Storytelling. Dancing. Cuddling and
Sex and Laughter. The tattoo I am saving up for...it is my first
and has been three years in the making already. I'm looking for an
artist I can create a relationship with who specializes in trees,
Art Nouveau, Henna and muted colors-know anyone? :)
On a typical Friday night I am
With friends playing cards or at a live music event/theatrical
performance.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit here
I believe everyone exists on a gradient scale of sexuality. If you
connect deeply with someone and make each other laugh and enjoy
life together, I don't see how the parts matter.
You should message me if
You want to leave that 9 to 5 upon the shelf and just enjoy
yourself....
