I am cautiously, optimistic, and pretty geeky.

My Self-Summary

I'm usually pretty shy when I first meet people, but extremely open when I become comfortable with them. I love to laugh, and to make other people laugh. I'm also pretty geeky - I like playing video games (Guitar Hero, Okami, Kingdom Hearts), reading fantasy/sci-fi (Terry Prachett is my all-time favourite author), and am an avid reader of webcomics (Penny Arcade is my favourite).

What I’m doing with my life

At the moment I'm pretty much just working, spending time with friends, and writing.

I’m really good at

Making people laugh, listening to people talk, learning new things, music (singing, and I play piano, clarinet, and baritone. And drums, if you count Rock Band).

The first things people usually notice about me

I'm short? I guess that I'm pretty quiet when first meeting people. But that changes once I've gotten to know them...

My favorite books, movies, music, and food

My favourite books are the Discworld series by Terry Prachett, I'm also a big fan of "This Alien Shore" by C.S. Friedman. Movies I'm not too picky - I like mindless action flicks, romantic comedies, comedies, dramas, psychological thrillers - don't really have a favourite. Similar theme for music, although overall I'm a fan of heavy rock.

The six things I could never do without

My friends and family, my computer/the internet, my iPod/music, books. I guess that's only five, but I'm easy to please.

I spend a lot of time thinking about

Storylines/characters - I like to kid myself that I'm an aspiring author, but basically I just enjoy writing things for myself and my friends.

On a typical Friday night I am

Hanging out with my friends, watching movies, playing video games. Same as I do most evenings.

The most private thing I’m willing to admit here

I have no idea what to put here. But ask me anything and chances are very good I'll answer.

You should message me if

You enjoy conversations that range from geeking out over the latest Guitar Hero songlist to psychological theories to the wonder that is HBO programming.
