My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I moved here from Texas to finish school a while ago and I'm content.

I relate to this:
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Currently going to film school. Also, I'm a dancer and it was a pretty big part of my life before I went to film school so I'm trying to get back into it. I'd like to start choreographing on a slightly more professional level (music videos, public broadcast, concerts, movies, ect).

I'm used to be a dance teacher in Austin and I had a little troupe of 8-10 year olds called the Rockettes. We did hip hop and jazz. We were pretty cool. I miss them :(. Currently focusing on school since I'm about to graduate (I started school later in life).
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Dancing, talking almost non-stop about movies, video editing, staring into an abyss of some sort, shoes, teaching (debatable) and obsessing over meaningless stuff (both in entertainment and in life).
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
My hair, until I shaved it so people would see me for me and not just my gorgeous locks (I have less friends now).

One time a woman at a gas station complimented my eye lashes and it was super organic and not at all weird.

I've been told I'm pretty snobby when it comes to movies and some music. Some have even called me a buzzkill. That's never my intention, I promise!

I love movies to an almost unhealthy degree. Here's a big clump of them I dig: Spring Breakers, Malcolm X, Zodiac, JFK, The Mist, American Werewolf in London, Bring It On (the gold standard of teen comedies), The Fly remake, There Will Be Blood, Inglorious Basterds, Wolf of Wall Street, Tree of Life, This is the End, The World's End, Scot Pilgrim, Frozen, Kung Fu Panda, The Incredibles, The Iron Giant, Only God Forgives, Short Term 12, Fargo, Wrong, Blackfish, In Bruges, The Exorcist, Magic Mike, The Conjuring, Her, The Mist, Iron Man 3, The Apartment, MacGruber, The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford, The Raid 1 & 2, Only Lovers Left Alive, The Apartment, Snowpierecer, The Host, The Counselor (Director's Cut) The Fast and Furious movies (I don't care about cars but I care about family) and many, many, many more.

I like literally every genre of music but I also have horrible taste. I love Lady Gaga, Ke$ha, The Killers, some dubstep, some k-pop, musicals, classical, Eminem (even though his music is super problematic), Kanye West, Weird Al, Nirvana, Daft Punk, Justice, Gotye, Gorillaz, Green Day, Hopsin, motown, Lonely Island, Tegan and Sara, Shady Hawkins, Bikini Kill, Aqua and Tom Waits. Just to name a few.

I don't read as much, to my detriment, but here are some books I'm currently reading: Andrey Tarkovsky' Sculpting In Time, The Hunger Games and Jesper Juul's Half-Real: Video Games between Real Rules and Fictional Worlds.

Food is cool, I guess.

Here are some TV shows I enjoy: Community, Parks and Recreation, Attack on Titan, Rick and Morty, True Detective, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, New Girl, Girls, Scandal, Breaking Bad, Bob's Burgers, Broad City, The Eric Andre Show, Bunheads (started watching Gilmore Girls to fill the gap in my heart), Nathan For You, iZombie, Chris Gethard Show, Mad Men and Archer.

Podcasts: comedy bang bang, the canon, superego, spontaneanation, andy daly podcast pilot project, indoor kids, u talkin' U2 to me?, with special guest lauren lapkus, how did this get made? and mooooorrrrreeee
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
1. I
2. Don't
3. Like
4. This
5. Section
6. So....
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
choreographing, movies i should see (new and old), if I should get another job, if I should take singing lessons again (I miss singing), probably also some type of current event that happened that everyone is talking about
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
working but only for a few hours, being productive if I feel like it, sleeping or going downtown and realizing what a horrible mistake I've made (but I do this repeatedly so I'm pretty stupid)
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I'm a fake geek guy.

I think beer is gross. I generally don't drink that much but beer is doubly gross to me. No judgement though.

I have this one embarrassing story that I will tell at the slightest provocation.

Any of this mildly interests/amuses you. Or just message me out of curiosity. I can't/shouldn't tell you what to do.
