In the days of reality dating shows, materialism, and fake views
of perfection displayed in some motion pictures in recent
years...love, the word and the act have been corrupted beyond
recognition.
The word is tossed so lightly, so frequently, it has lost meaning.
As I stare out the window looking over the empty streets, i'm
reminded of how empty such a once powerful word has been withered
to. Love shouldn't be exploited, shouldn't be mocked...love doesn't
have to be grand in appearance or acts...and most importantly, love
is not perfection.
Love, my friends...in a word...is simplicity. It's in those
unspoken moments, whether it's an extra squeeze into one's
hand...or a moment just sitting together. Love is imperfection. It
angers us, it concerns us, it challenges us. Love hurts. Reminds us
we have a heart.
I guess though, only few ever really see that. So many young minds
have been geared to believe that love is this mystical, complex
thing...when it really isn't.
So there you have it. No scientific explaination, no mystical holy grail. Just food for thought I suppose.
